1. thanks gang I love Topaz to death. But when the new wears off Ill love her the same as the rest. lol
2. And one more of him. He always has his bluetooth on he is terrified he might miss a call for work. lol He is self employed he does pressure washing and house painting for a living. Have three regular employees and a couple that he works when he has a lot going on. This weather has put a real damper on work the last month.
3. This is my other half if you want him for the vidio. He is my mountain man. hehe
4. Or if you have one near you soon try a bird fair that is where I have gotton the best deals on cages. Wait untill the last day and the last couple hours. People are willing to cut prices even more then so they dont have to break down and pack too many cages. Got my greys cage for 80 bucks from a bird fair.
5. Here is the older baby. H/she was hatched on June 22. He seems to be bigger then Topaz and might be a little darker in color. I know his feet are darker. And here is Topaz first outing with the harness. Couldnt stay out long it started to sprinkle. and
6. Maybe you can tell me. Does it cost a lot of money to do stain glass? Do you need a lot of room? If you do small stuff well that take up a lot less space? Is it hard? I would love to make some of this stuff but I am real limited on space.
7. Ya so glad you got a well bird check up and all looks good. Pictures?
8. Its not realy a chore when you enjoy it. I am having a great time. Yes these are from the same breeder pair Topaz is from. They well be blue. I still have at least 5 more that well hatch. Ill be feeding ever two house for the next three months. lol Number 6 do you really want one? or just wishing? lol If you do really want one pm me and well talk it over. But cant ship this time of year its to hot.
9. This is the two youngest I have at the house right now. The bigger one is almost three weeks old and the smaller one is less then two weeks old. In this picture you can see the pipet I have to us to feed them with every two hours. You can also see poop on the side outside the bowl they are in. The big one is doing that. Quakers do not like to poop in their bed so they back up as far as they can and poop. And here is one of them asleep. And this is not to clear because this is one of them with his mouth wide open begging for food and when they do that their head bobs all over the place. lol Post edited by: Tari, at: 2007/07/25 00:10

Post edited by: Tari, at: 2007/07/28 17:30
10. Wow thanks for that link. I had to pay the 35 plus shipping when I got mine and that made it 42 dollors. Next one I order well be from there.
11. I am so glad you have the dog in hand. I would also recomend the Avaitor Harness. I cant get one on my grey and it may be a year of more before I can. But my Topaz has one and I can get it on without much trouble but she keeps tring to "perch" on the waist strap. lol But I see days ahead of me and her going on long walks.
12. Well I do its annoying. And my photos are up already.
13. http://cgi.ebay.com/Stained-Glass-African-Grey-Parrot_W0QQitemZ300133686212QQihZ020QQcategoryZ46269QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I swear when I sell my second blue quaker Im getting this guy to make a TAG. 14. You know what those quotes thingies look awfull when looking at just the titles. Why is it they dont come out right?
15. Great shots. Please dont allow you bird anywhere within reach of your bird. Dog silvia kills.
16. I would leave her at home also. Parrots do stress when their owners are away and this well help her/him. Maybe when you get back you can arrange some sleep overs so the next time you go away she can stay there.
17. How about the theam song to Friends. No clue who the band was.
18. First take the bird to the vet for a well bird check. Other then that it well be long enough before the Grey comes that you'll have done a QT but when the Grey gets there you well need to QT him for 30 to 45 days. I opt for 45 days if I was you. Gratz on the new baby and hope to see pictures in the other bird room soon.
19. I like the monkey song ummmm hey hey were the monkeys .... I am awfull at music titles and groups.
20. I agree leave the cage door open as much as you can and let her come out on her own. After QT is over maybe you can have their cages so she can see Red and that might help her feel better about coming out.
21. I make some put most I get from my paint shop pro groups that share that sort of things.
22. I have not adopted a grey but I have two adopted older birds. One is a sweet heart and was from the start. If your very lucky maybe yours well stay a sweet heart like my amazon Joey did. Or.... My other one is one of my quakers. When I got him he was a biter and plucker (after a small investment in a vet lol) he no longer plucks but he still bites. Guess what I'm tring to say is it can go either way. Your a hero for being welling to take the chance.
23. Great picture. He'll be home before you know.
