Oh very pretty Berna, I say if you want them then get them, you only live once.
You say the finches will pick on the doves, aren't the doves bigger than the finches, looks like it would be the other way around. I have a fince but only 1 so I wouldn't know about any picking they might do.
Yes I have seen the blushing too and that is normal and they do make some strange noises, sometimes I could swear that Josey burps, she certainly does sound like she does.
Make sure your husband does too, forgot he was the one tending to the stove and left the pot on, I am sure you would have never done that, right!!!
Sorry to hear you have the flu and yes it seems everyone has it, hope you feel better soon.
You did the right thing in getting the windows open and airing out the place, that was quick thinking. And the fact that they are ok this morning is enough to quit worrying about it now, its over and done with, just be more careful in the future, ok:whistle:
Tari, I think you just have one of the quieter and more laid back greys while some of the members have some that are more rambunctious and vocal. I don't think there is anything wrong with her. And having 4 pet birds I don't thing is so many as some have a lot more so I am sure you are spending as much time with Que that those others with many spend with their grey.
I think some of the ones who have greys they have boasted about do spend a lot of time with them and work with them somewhat so they have accomplishments to brag about that you do not but it does not mean that Que is not as smart. You just haven't worked with her enough to bring it out of her.
Don't worry about it Tari, I think you are doing fine and as long as Que is happy and healthy then she is being herself.
No Ronda he is not complaining, he loves being surrounded by women, that is one thing I do know about Joe and he likes nothing better than to go to a gym, if he in fact really does, and gaze at all the women in their leotards while they do their exercises.
He's one of these old fashioned guys that thinks women belong in the home barefoot and pregnant and obey their master's every command and you don't find women like that anymore, we wised up and don't take that crap anymore.
Just watch out for sharp turns, you don't want to turn the cage over:laugh: I usually put her cage on the back seat so I can get to her if I need to but she does fine. I put the perch down low so if she happens to get off balance and fall off she does not have far to go but she does good at griping the perch.
We are going this weekend and I am taking both Josey and Sunny with me, I haven't taken my sun conure before but my daughter cannot keep her so she goes too.
He's far from left out Ronda, he just likes to take center stage, he'd like nothing better than to be surrounded by a bunch of women, am I right Joe!!!
I feel your pain Laurie for I have been having problems myself and I don't want to get a new one because if I do it will come with Windows Vista and I hear it is full of bugs and is not compatible with present software. :pinch:
When we go to WV to visit my son we go straight there and it is a 4+ hour trip and Josey does fine, she sits on her perch in her cage and you'll hear her ring her bell from time to time and chatter some.
I'm up for play by play if you want to do that, would be fun.
