Are you paying him enough attention but I can tell ya that rolling him out to another room is not going to help. I am not superstitious either but I was born on a 13th but not on Friday but it does occur on a Friday this year, the only one the whole year long. Good then we can meet next Saturday if the good lord is willing and the creeks don't rise.

Hello Gus and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and your parrot. I assume you have a grey and that is who you are referring to when you say your parrot is bossy, screeching, naughty and manipulating, how colorful the descriptions you have for him. I take it you are having some problems with him. No you cannot let him out in the wild even though you would like to at the moment, your parrot has got the upper hand right now and is controlling you and not the other way around. You need to reverse this trend so you have control and I believe you will have a happier household. Take some time and read thru many of the threads for lots of useful and helpful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have. We will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have any pictures of your parrot you would like to share with us we would love to see it.

Yes that is so sweet coming from a 3-year old to think of others besides herself like so many do these days, you are raising her right, Wendy.

I agree with Imme, you can't put your life on hold for Sweetheart even though you have just had a major breakthrough with her. She will be fine as long as you have your brother come in a few times so she will be more comfortable with him being there. I have left Josey before for a few days and even for a week and she was fine when I got back, she might be a little ticked off at first or she might be glad to see you, it just depends but the main thing is she will be ok with it. Go visit his parents, enjoy yourself, call and check on her for I know you will and then come back and get back into the usual routine, its the best thing for you and for her.

Lets hope so but sometimes children don't appreciate their mothers until they have kids of their own and then they realize what you mean to them, here's hoping you have a good surprise waiting for you tomorrow, let us know ok:P

Maybe you will have to leave little reminders where they will find them so they don't forget, if not quit being chicken and "forget" their birthdays, maybe that will bring them around, Siobhan, but I know how you feel.

Zeta, are all these your birds? Why don't you give us a little info on each one, what kind it is, some of them I know but a few I do not. But they are a lovely bunch, thanks for sharing and you finally got the hang of posting photos, yah.

Thanks girls and I feel the same way, some of us have just clicked with each other and it is like we have known each other for a long time, like old buddies. I used to belong to another forum and it was no fun at all, here we make our own fun, we are allowed to be ourselves and that is what makes the difference.:kiss:

Well get working on it Ronda, it is fairly easy to train them to potty in the proper place and with a command.
