I echo Caroline's suggestions, this bird needs to be able to trust you and it won't be an easy or short journey but you sound like you really do want to help Dorian so be patient because it will require lots of time. Tracy aka Lovemygreys will be able to provide some excellent advice also.

Skuffy if you got the aviator one it comes with a dvd that you should watch before using and putting the harness where Max can see it and get used to its presence is good, hopefully you will have no problem with it.

Congrats to the winners, they were all great photos but that photo of the chicken was great Muse so congrats on winning top prize. But there should have been more entries and certainly more people voting, come on guys you can do better than that.:dry:

Hello Coopersmom and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and Cooper. How nice that you can take on the task of Cooper and I am sure he will be a wonderful addition to your household although I cannot understand how the owners can give him up and you will find that out after you have had him for a while. They become like a member of the family and you don't get rid of family members. Please read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do ask as many questions as you like, we don't mind at all. We will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. When you do take possession of Cooper if you would like to share some pictures of him we would love to see him.

Well it may take lots of time and then you may never get him to stop saying the swear words, but he will say them less and less as he doesn't hear them spoken anymore.B) I imagine he will become more vocal when he feels more comfortable in his new home but he is doing real well considering what he went thru.:huh: You ask all the questions you want, we don't mind.

Just because they are brother and sister doesn't mean they should get along especially since they did not come to you at the same time and like Tracy said the first one there is letting the other one know that he is top dog.

Gail I am glad that Angel is getting some meds for his problems but the vet is right, it may take a long time for him to get past his problems but you have the right attitude, never give up, he has such a good mom looking after him.

When one door closes sometimes another door opens and so glad one did for you. Just give it time, you need lots of patience when working with a grey but he/she will come around and the bonding will take place, but it may be weeks or months down the road, have faith it will happen.

So you have 2 greys now and they are going to the corner of the cage and kicking their legs, sounds like they are doing the chicken scratch, thats what I call it and young greys will display that behavior. My Josey does the same thing and it usually means she wants to come to me, her wings are clipped and she cannot fly so she is begging me to come and get her. Your new baby is just copying his behavior. Take a few minutes and read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have. We will do our best to get you some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Pepper and Noki you would like to share with us we would love to see them.
