  1. That was so cute of Bella doing her Tutitah dance and what a hoot she is Terri, no wonder she is such a character, thanks for sharing it with us:laugh: B)
  2. Ruby is so sweet there in her undies, her beauty shines right thru and she is so blessed to be loved like she is and I am sure she returns the feeling, thanks for sharing her with us.
  3. Welcome back Ladybug, it has been a while but glad to hear you are doing good and Julio is settling in nicely, but don't stay away so long. Wow that is great that you are bringing home a B&G macaw in July, what a splendid addition to your flock that will be, be sure to keep us updated on it.

  5. Ruby is a special grey, a beautiful lady and I had tears in my eyes reading that blog of how you came to have Ruby and once I started reading I couldn't stop until I finished it, you both are truly blessed and thanks so much for sharing both stories with us:)
  6. OMG, I too am in tears over these two stories about Ruby and Gracie, they are truly blessed to have you as their companion and caretaker and once I started reading I couldn't stop until I finished. Thanks so much for sharing these stories with us, you have two beautiful greys and you have such a huge heart, Katrin is a very lucky woman, bless the both of you from the bottom of my heart:)
  7. From that last photo, it looks very proud of himself/herself and I would never have guessed you are obsessed with identifying this bird:laugh:
  8. Hello Graehstone and welcome to the family, so glad you decided to join and we look forward to hearing more about you, Ruby and Gracie and your other fids. A man after my own heart that recognizes the sun rises and sets because of his wife, Katrin is a very lucky woman. Have you had both greys since they were babies? They must be a delight to have along with the senegal and a cockatiel that share your home and are part of your flock. You and I share another passion and that is your orchids, I have 4 plants right now and 3 are in bloom. I just love the exotic look of them and the fact that blooms last a long time, several months in fact. Take a little time and read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have. We will do our best to find some answers and help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Ruby and Gracie you would like to share with us we would love to see them. We also have an other birds room where you can share some pics of the other two birds if you like.
  9. Well I guess that proves they are never too old to learn or start talking, how exciting for you after all this time to have him saying hello and pretty bird and soon who knows what Joey will come out with, way to go Tari.
  10. Looks like she is so busy worrying about being videotaped she hasn't given us an update in several days, what goes with Talon, Penny, inquiring minds want to know:huh:    B)
  11. Yeah we hear ya, no birds huh, well it happens to the best of us but you got quite a character there that likes to hang upside down to sleep:lol: thanks Pam for sharing him with us:P B)
  12. Isn't it wonderful to get away but it is so nice to get home and get that coming home welcome from the ones we left behind, that makes it all worth it and I am sure Jimmy's homecoming will be just as rewarding as yours, Siobhan:P
  13. You know we are all in for a treat and a thrill when Dave gets going on one of his humorous posts and most of the time I am in stitches from laughing so much. :woohoo:
  14. Yes Mark, even you can quit, all you have to do is set your mind to it and do it, you need to quit to hang around to see those grandkids grow up and have kids of their own. Sometimes it takes something like this to open our eyes to what it is doing to us, I'm sorry to say but Mark it should have scared the bejebbers out of you, please join the other quitters for your own sake!!

  17. Jazz just a reminder that if Obi makes an annoying to you noise you need to just ignore it, don't make any kind of response to it for it will only make her do it more for the response she gets from it, she may never not do it but it may lessen in frequency over time.
  18. I'll just add my two cents worth since we are on the subject of what they can and cannot drink, no pop, soda, cola drinks or any kind of carbonated drinks what so ever should ever be given to them, very bad:angry:
  19. Congrats Pat, small steps but big gains, just goes to show that time and patience will win in the end and I know you are literally beaming with pride at the accomplishment. It's hard to tell what Tyco will end up allowing you to do now that she has finally broken down that barrier. Thanks Pat for sharing that wonderful story with us, will go a long way in helping others in a similiar situation that hope is just around the corner for them too.
  20. You mean 102 degrees Dan, is it that hot already, wow then yes it is Samuel Adams Red time but its margarita time for me, slurp.................  :silly:
  21. Thats a cute little keet, thanks Richard for sharing it with us.
  22. Richard you be sure to keep us updated on how the training goes with your keet:P
  23. Hello Richard and welcome to the family, so glad you could join us and we look forward to hearing more about you and your new keet, Nuriko. That is an interesting name you have there for your bird, does it have a special meaning? So this is your first bird, well do not be surprised if it turns out it is not your last one, most of us here have more than one bird and most are of different species. I have a sun conure along with a Cag. Please read thru the many threads for lots of useful information but most of what you will need will be found in the other birds room since the others deal mostly with the greys. Do ask questions if you have any as you have already and we will do our best to get some answers and help you in any way we can. We would love to see some pictures of your keet whenever you feel like sharing them.
