The suspence is killing me and now we have to wait a week more:huh: but yes I would do the same thing, wait for the other two to come in and then let one of them pick you.
Please, please, please take your camera down and get us some pics of the babies, we just love looking at them, so share them with us will ya:whistle:
Hello Kushka and welcome to the family, so glad you decided to join and we look forward to hearing more about you and your desire to get a grey.
You are exactly right, having a grey is akin to having a perpetual small child in your home for the rest of it's life, but it is one we as grey owners wouldn't trade for anything.
Sounds like you have a big heart and you are a big softee as far as animals go but you are doing the right thing in researching and finding out all you can before you make that final plunge into grey ownership.
Please read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask questions you may have as we will do our best to get some answers for them and help you in any way we can.
My Josey is a female and she is bonded to me so that bonding thing with the opposite sex is a myth as far as I am concerned, it doesn't really matter but let the grey choose you and you can't go wrong.
Steve, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of George, I knew he was fighting for his life but I had hoped he would pull thru but it was just not meant to be.
I have tears in my eyes at the moment just reading your post, it is so sad when one of our members loses their beloved companion but we all know what you are going thru and how you must feel.
George has gone on to the rainbow bridge where you will meet him again one day but for now hold the memories of him close to you.
Please accept my condolences on your loss and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that your heart be healed.

Sorry:blush: but most of us just don't approve of that kind of art posted in a family forum that any age kids could be looking at but that doesn't mean that a lot of us do not enjoy such art, I do but not on this site.
Oh that last one looks a little sad, is she crying? You do lovely work and very professional looking too, btw is your first name Mike since you signed them with that name:whistle:
Thanks for sharing them with usB)
You did a very good job Kim on this playstand, thanks for sharing it with us and yes it would be a great idea for something to do with the kids or grandkids.
Something has obviously changed in his life to cause the plucking and a vet visit is necessary to rule out any physical reason but my guess is it is something behavioral.
Why don't you introduce yourself in the welcome room and tell us a little more about you and this grey of yours, I bet you could tell us some stories since you have had him for 19 years.
Its definitely contagious, I am excited for you that you get to pick from more than one as I did not have that option but now that I have her I wouldn't trade her for anything. But definitely let the grey pick you, thats the best way of all.
The others gave you what you should be looking for as far as health of the grey is concerned so I can't wait to hear what happens and which one if any you choose.
Believe me FairY she can be both, she is a little sweetheart:kiss: but she can be feisty too:angry: , she is much smaller than Josey but much more aggressive but she melts my heart every time when she saddles up to me to cuddle. B)
I wouldn't call myself special but she is my constant companion, right now as I type she is on my knee but her favorite perch is my shoulder, she is a hoot!!!:silly:
Finally!!!!
Thats so sweet of the two of them sitting on the perch together, they do get along I see, thanks Caroline for sharing them with us and thanks Tracy for assisting her with them, she will get the hang of it.
Doesn't she look like she is enjoying herself so much, you have a wonderful relationship with Carly but it does make me feel a little uneasy seeing her flighted like that and not on a leash, but then you know what you are doing and I don't.
Thanks so much Raz for sharing these pictures with us, she looks really nice out there.B)
Know what you mean, gotta love those digital cameras, makes picture sharing so much easier, I look forward to seeing some more real soon.B)
Picture ham huh!!!
This is Sunny, my sun conure, but sometimes is more like a little clown but she is my little darling for sure, just felt like sharing her with you, she certainly brings a little sunshine into my life.
Isn't she cute!!!!
My sweet grey Josey, turned 2 years old yesterday, the 25th of May, no party was planned but she had a great day and has a couple of new toys. Fingers crossed but she has yet to really bite me, she always steps up for me even from inside her cage and she has truly been a blessing to me as a companion.
I thought I would add a pic or two of her to share her with you all.B)

Yes I know that dream of yours and no one is more proud of you for finally realizing that dream than me. You have wanted this for a long time and you have had moments that you thought it would never happen but good things come to those who wait, even ones who don't have much patience for waiting.
She is a lovely girl Tracy and one that I can't wait to meet when I finally get to visit with you hopefully next year at the latest.
Millie doesn't know how lucky she is yet but give her time and she will be as enthralled with you as much as you are with her, thanks Tracy for sharing her with us, what a beauty she is:)
