Thats BS Terrie, my Josey does the wolf whistle and also talks. That was one of the first things she learned to do, thanks to my hubby and she started talking at about 1 year of age. Your baby is only 4 months old she he has plenty of time to start talking so don't worry about him whistling first, enjoy it.

He is just going thru the motions but I don't think he wants to be handfed, just ignore it for the most part. Since he is eating out of his food bowls that is the best.

I laugh now that I remember asking you in another thread what your grey's name is, duh, your screen name said it all but then it could have been another bird or pet name, oh well nobody's perfect.:blush: Jasper may have just been hungry but then it is not unusual for them to regress a little after bringing a newly weaned baby home to want to be hand fed again. Lets hope he was just hungry so be sure to provide him with enough to fill him up. Do you have any other birds or pets or is Jasper your first bird or grey? Please read thru the many threads for lots of useful information and do not hesitate to ask any and all questions you may have and we will help you in any way we can. If you have some pictures of Jasper you would like to share with us we would love to see them.

Dan, this must be an awful experience for her to have to go thru and I have been thinking of her but it is still stuck, I hope it will come on out on its own, give her my love and you take care of yourself too, she needs you right now.

They are beautiful Jen, you are a proud mommy for sure, now are you gonna keep them or are they for sale, personally I would want to keep them. You have done a good job taking care of them, they look very healthy.

I know you have a right to be mad and pissed off at this woman but violence is never the answer as you will end up on the wrong side of the stick. Dave and David have given you some things to think about and some advice on what you should and shouldn't do, please think this over before you do something you will regret for the rest of your life.

I have never heard of it before but if you say so then it must be true but you are right, everyday is bird day in my home and everyones here too, maybe we need a parront day so the birds can honor us, yeah right:whistle:

Now these are pictures of a Cag, and he/she is adorable, glad you got it straightened out and thanks for sharing the pics with us. I know you can't wait to bring it home but soon.

This is what a bird does, Holly and it is best to provide him with things he can chew up to keep him busy for you are not gonna stop him for doing it. Since he seems to enjoy anything leather do keep plenty of those kinds of toys around to chew on. A lot of people fuss because their greys chew their furniture but that is what they do, providing him with things he can chew and tear up will keep him away from the things you don't want him tearing up. Have a look thru the homemade toys and playstands room for some ideas and suggestions for things you can provide to keep him entertained.

I'm so sorry about your other grey and I am sure you did all you could to find her but lets hope someone did find her and gave her a good home. That was wonderful that you could take in Gloria and I know it must have been a sad day for her former owners to have to give her up but their loss is your gain and now you are working on building a good relationship with her and it will haappen, just give it time. You are right, we have a lot of good information here in our many threads and we have a wonderful bunch of knowledgeable members who are willing to help out in any way they can. If you have any questions all you have to do is ask. If you have some pictures of Gloria you would like to share with us we would love to see her and we have an other birds room where you can share some of Casper too if you like.

That looks nice Jan and you are right, you can hardly see it, well you certainly came up with a solution to your problem area and it could be used in other similar situations, you are one clever woman. Thanks so much for sharing the pictures of what you did to make Tobie safe with no more accidents. I love that last pic of him sharing his affection for you, such a lovely shot.

Now that is just a little more information than I needed to know:sick:

Don't feel dumb, we all make mistakes and if she has multiple clutches of greys then she just picked the wrong photos to send to you, when she sends the correct ones just replace them and no problem. But whoever is getting that Tag is getting a good looking one that is for sure.

Maybe you should get this cleared up since you are supposed to be getting a Cag and those pics are definitely that of a Tag, she might have just chosen the wrong pics.

Now cut that out Dave, I know what you are talking about and that ain't it, shame on you:whistle: :pinch: :laugh:

I ask because Cags have black beaks and Tags have that bone colored beak and the one in the pics you shared are definitely Tag. Is the one in your avatar supposed to be yours?

I have one question, you say you are getting a new Cag but that is definitely a Tag in the pics you shared, also that is a Cag in your avatar, so if the one in the pics is yours then you have a Tag not a Cag right?

Precious it is, what a good looking Tag and I know you can hardly wait to bring him/her home, thanks for sharing a couple of pictures with us.
