  1. Oh get a life Jill, not everyone wants to reveal so much about themselves, remember you are the one who doesn't want anyone to know what you look like, maybe others don't want us to know what isn't any of our business, find some other way to amuse yourself, too bad I have got too much work to do now or I would be on to get under your skin and keep you from getting bored, you poor woman, my heart bleeds.
  2. Thanks Amanda for finally introducing yourself and Baby as it helps to get to know one another as we are all curious about each other. I am so happy you decided to give this grey a good home and he seems to have settled in nicely. He was taken good care of and that helps so much with rehoming a bird, he is so lucky you found him. We look forward to hearing more about him and pictures too if you have any.
  3. Nice looking atom and maybe Rishi will get more comfortable on it after you add some familiar toys to it, thanks for sharing the picture with us.
  4. Great picture Dee, you are not an idiot but you got more guts than I do, thanks for giving us a laugh and not letting Bernie be the only silly one on the forum, but you have to admit he is good at it. Dan, I don't think that was quite what Bernie was talking about but you get an E for the great effort, E in this case is karma.
  5. Snowy is adorable, what a little cutie, thanks for sharing him with us.
  6. In that case will next week be ok and I want everything in the pictures, whats for dessert?
  7. I don't know about cockatoos but greys can and do get territorial about their cages so she might have thought you were invading her space but since she is otherwise acting normal after that incidence then I wouldn't worry about it.
  8. Thats funny, your wife thought she was being smart but got outwitted by a grey with a walnut sized brain, Koko was not going to be denied her right to toss the bowl, hope she wasn't bitten too hard.
  9. That pic is so adorable, makes us all want one, just like other pets we wish we could keep them that way.
  10. What you can do is play some games involving a towel, like hide and seek or peek a boo, make it fun so he gets used to being around a towel and then when the day comes he has to be toweled he may not be so afraid.
  11. Ollie is a little cutie pie too, thanks for sharing some pictures of the new puppy Bernie though I don't approve of the cat and dog on the kitchen counter, not in my house.    B)
  12. I thought it was, you look very cute and I bet you are good at it too.
  13. Yes it is, poor Sunny didn't understand why she had to stay in the cage but today she is out to her usual spot on me so all is good now.
  14. I bet you miss them terribly but thanks for sharing the pictures with us, now is that you in one of the pics Shelia?
  15. That bad Beau, he cut our chat short yesterday because he wouldn't behave, I don't have this problem with Josey as she doesn't fly so she stays where I put her. I have a different problem but I think it stems from jealousy also, yesterday I had both my grand girls at the house and Sunny flew to the smallest girl and tried to bite her. She was on her back in her hair, thats what protected her from actually being bitten but she does not want them to get too close to me. I had to end up putting Sunny in her cage to keep the girls safe. She is fine with my grandson but the girls she will attack.
  16. Josey uses both mine and my hubby's voices, his is deeper than mine and usually what she copies of his is in his deeper tone. Rana, I love that picture of Kookie, it looks like she is holding a mirror checking herself while she preens, thanks for sharing it with us.
  17. Sorry to hear you have the flu, my grand daughters had it but they had it mild, hope you are feeling better real soon. Thats real sweet that Dorian is saying "I love you" and right when you really needed to hear it, you take care.
  18. I hope you are right Marguerite, he sure is a cutie, I have had my share of barn cats myself, good mousers.
  19. You have a very pretty cat Marguerite, I love his markings especially that little bit of black under his nose, love the pic of him sleeping covered up, thanks for sharing some pics of JAC with us.
  20. She might Pat, she thinks anything that big bird is doing she can do too, kind of like monkey see, monkey do, at least it has gotten her to play with a type of toy she wasn't interested in before, Chatot is a good teacher.
  21. Yes that is about the same sound I hear occasionally from Josey when she really gets into a toy especially the bells but Dan is right on with the description.
  22. I know, I find myself coming back to this thread to get a laugh but you go right ahead and put a silly picture of yourself, frankly I don't have the guts to do it.
  23. Guapo is a beautiful amazon and congrats on rescuing him, looks like he will make an awesome addition to your flock, karma to you for your big heart.
  24. Adina, I really love that picture, that one is suitable for framing, thanks for sharing that with us.
  25. Tango is a lovely lady and so lucky to have found you, what a story of her past, thanks for sharing the pics with us.
