Congrats on finally getting to bring Hawkins home on Monday, definitely a great Easter present, no sleep for you this weekend for you will be so wired up in anticipation of Hawkins' homecoming, can't wait to see the pics.
I am glad to hear his vet visit went well and you should have no problem getting him to put on a little weight although he doesn't look like he is underweight but then the vet is the one who knows.

LOL Stephen, we can't get the palm nuts here in the USA at least not like the ones greys have in their natural habitat, the best you will come to it is to get the red palm oil and give that, it has the same benefits and you can put it over the foods he readily eats.
I am so sorry about your loss of Sparky but for a lot of us pets are like our children and when we lose one it is like losing a child but time heals all wounds Jen and this shall pass too.
Maybe Sadie will enocurage Lyric to talk but a few do not ever utter a word and if she hasn't spoken by now I doubt she ever will but hope springs eternal, I imagine Sadie will more than make up for it.B)
There is not much else you can do about the screaming but ignore it, just turn your back and do not look back at her but I suspect this is a phase she is going thru right now and may subside in time.
If she cannot fly and has a tendency to jump off of where she is perched to get to you then don't put her up high so she has less distance to fall from. This is kind of what I have to do with Josey as she doesn't fly, still waiting for all flights to grow back, and pad the area around where she is perched to keep her from splitting her keel bone. You don't want that for that is serious business.
You could screen one of them in and that would allow you to be in the open air and keep Hawkins safe, if I were you and had a deck that is what I would do.
That is just too funny Jill and I guess they are watching her all the time to be sure she doesn't try to take a bite out of one of "her" eggs for that chocolate would be very bad for her, thanks for sharing that with us Jill.
Whiskey is a real camera ham, he has no fear of looking right into it and chattering away, what a cute grey you have and thanks so much for sharing the videos with us, more please.
He is a cute little thing, glad to hear he just made himself right at home so now maybe the MBS is at bay for now, congrats on your new addition to the flock.

Bored in your house, never!
Poor frog but it was meant to be distroyed, it will take a little time with all that stuff on it, what a toy!
Alfie knew she had done wrong, what a smart grey you have there Lyn, no doubt chuckling to herself at how clever she is to beat you to the punch, thanks for sharing that with us.
Ah the poor little thing, yes by all means if you want to give this bird a new forever home then do it, it looks like it needs someone to take proper care of it and love it and you are definitely qualified. Let us know what you decide to do.
I am so happy for this grey and Kate, at least the owner has some sense to finally realize the bird is better off with someone who knows how to take care of the bird and at least now it will get whatever treatment it needs. I am sure this bird will blossom under Kate's care, please keep us informed on his progress please Deb.
So your mom had to see it from someone else's perspective to get the meaning of how you feel about Issac, now I guess she understands how you are so enthralled with him.
Like Lyn, I would not have wanted to leave my birds outside while I went into a store, too much chance of someone taking off with them and I just don't trust most people anymore.
Thanks Stephen for sharing that story with us.
I can imagine their hearing is much better than ours but that is awesome to know she picked up on the conversation or maybe she knows you like a book now and can read you loud and clear, thanks for sharing that with us.
I could say "I told you so" but then you already know that, its great to hear that Sadie is talking up a storm now and it will only get better with time.
Its nice to see you back on the forum again Jen, you have been missed, don't stay away so long and let us know how you, Lyric and Sadie are doing.
This is very encouraging news Jay and I hope it continues to improve for Spock, he is one lucky fid to have such caring parronts and we all love him here.
Get better Spock!
That is a very cute video of Abby being a "dog" and typical behavior of one exploring around on the floor, wants to chew on everything and turn the bowls over, thanks for sharing that with us.
Looks good Janet and that bell in the middle would be a hit with Josey, she has one in her cage and loves it. I think you will have to wrap it with vet wrap or something to give it a grip, maybe some small diameter rope.
