That Kopi sounds like he is becoming quite a character and loved how he enjoyed a bath, wish mine did. You will see more of his personality as time goes on but it looks like you have a winner, but then they all are aren't they.

I would imagine that most greys go for most any beans, I know Josey does and that method of putting the extras in ice cube trays is the best, when frozen you can dump them out into a freezer safe bag and just get out one or two depending on how many birds you are feeding and heat a little and let them enjoy.

I gave up on nail polish as I don't usually wear it anyways and when I did Josey would freak out at the sight of my nails so I leave them bare, maybe a clear coat. Its good Alfie let you rinse her tongue off, most would have fought it.

I don't know what kind of legal rights you have but if I were you I would appeal to her good sense and see if she will allow you to keep the bird. Tell her in a kind way that the bird is not getting the attention, love and nourishment it needs, she may not be aware that greys require this much time and attention.

Emma looks like she is actually eating the bean but Sachi is just chewing it and dropping it but it gives them something to do. I don't think I have ever seen a fava bean before. To tell you the truth I have only heard of those beans because of a movie, something about eating his liver with some fava beans, yep it was Hannibal the cannibal. I love watching Cocoa in flight and we all know here except maybe for one member that you do all you can to make sure she is safe when she flies, you two share a special bond and she trusts you without fail. My grey doesn't fly at least yet and I enjoy watching Cocoa with her maneuvers thru the air on the harness.

I love how your suns get along with Spock as I have to keep my sun conure away from Josey, the sun is the more aggressive one and they are going to be so colorful when they molt and get those yellow and orange feathers on their necks, backs and bellies, show stoppers.
