1. That is too funny, I would imagine that little ant would not cause any harm to your Benji as you are right about them eating bugs in the wild, whatever they find, he saw an opportunity and took it.
2. Happy Hatchday Bella, may you have many many more wonderful ones to come.
3. He certainly is a fine looking fella from the picture you shared, not a feather out of place and he looks in fine form, you are taking really good care of him and it shows.
4. Looks like Friday is the big day for the results of dna tests, can't wait to hear the results.
5. Well if it motivated Dee to get back on her nordic trac then it was well worth posting and I agree wholeheartedly about the parasite part, she is pathetic.
6. The dimensions would be how wide, how deep and how high, usually the inside dimensions will be slightly smaller than the outside dimensions. It should be listed on the website where you viewed the cage.
7. What beautiful scenery there, I love your pictures and Cocoa looks like she fits right in. Poor dear couldn't take the winding roads but she doesn't look any worse for the wear of the ride, she does lead quite the adventurous life doesn't she. Thanks for sharing these pictures with us as a lot of us will never get the chance to see it otherwise.
8. Do you know the inside dimensions?
9. Thats a great looking cage, similar to Josey's, you will love the playtop on the side like that.
10. It is the little things that add up that matters most and even though big things get a lot of attention they are fewer and far between, its like life's little blessings and when you can see the joy and amusement in the little things then you way ahead of the others. I think we all experience little joys with our greys and birds that we don't speak of too often for they are overlooked but they can mean so much, like finding the clipped wing feather and knowing that an unclipped one will eventually take its place. You have a very optimistic outlook and that is a gift. Thanks for sharing these little things with us.
11. Thanks Jay for letting us know his surgery was a success and give him my best wishes.
12. Well it would help if we could see the cage you are talking about, where is the picture or the link to the site where it is and we will be happy to give you our thoughts on it.
13. We wish he would get well too Jay, its hard to see him like this but the prayers continue and hopefully one day he will show improvement, poor little guy.
14. You will have to put him back in his cage and turn your back on him to let him know the cords are off limits but keeping them hidden or well covered should help. I am lucky in that Josey has never taken a liking to chewing anything like that, of course it helps that she does not fly and does very little walking around on the floor, she pretty much stays where I put her.
15. Then I will take your word for it until I can see for myself.B)
16. Aww, another dull day in the life of Jay and Maggie, hint, hint, don't take your shower until after the birds are fed. B) I like Jules' answer, at least it wasn't poop:sick: {Feel-good-0002006E}
17. I can't recall Josey doing that but they have their own little mannerisms that may be different but still similar, a picture would be worth a thousand words Jules.

Post edited by: judygram, at: 2010/03/21 22:19
18. Yeah I could see how that could happen, there is no outsmarting these birds of ours, they have us right where they want us.
19. Josey rarely screams just some loud calls now and then but she can do a great sun conure scream. Now my sun does occasionally scream while on my shoulder and it is ear splitting if she is right at my ear when she does it, I think it too is in response to something she hears or sees outside that she feels like she has to "warn" me of, what we put up with for them. If I tried ear muffs I am sure both of them would freak and not be on my shoulder, maybe you can try them earplugs, they are pliable so you can scrunch them up and put them in and they expand to close up the ear canal, my hubby uses them at work.
20. I have been trying to get Josey to say the phrase, "Josey has a little red butt" I thought that was cute of Tobie saying that in a thread by Janfromboone but she is leaving out the word red so it comes out like "Josey has a little butt" which is cute but not quite what I wanted, guess I will have to put some emphasis on the word red or maybe it will stay that way but its cute to hear regardless.  Just thought I would share that.
21. Mocha is very quick to react, there will be no tossing the biscuits in the air to each other at the dinner table for Mocha will have them all in a flash. B)
22. You never know how much you really miss something until its gone or in this case down, well we might have been down but not out. That would be a great feature to be notified when the site is up again but we have lost some of the features we used to have and I would be thanking my lucky stars to just have them back.
23. "US woman wants to become the world's fattest woman" I found this on my home page the other day and cannot believe someone would willingly want this title, what is the world coming to, I know it really doesn't surprise me for I have heard just about everything but who would want to be so big they couldn't move around. Here I am trying to lose some unwanted pounds and she eats enormous amounts of junk food to pile on the pounds, jeez!!  http://momento24.com/en/2010/03/15/us-woman-aims-to-be-the-worlds-fattest/

Post edited by: judygram, at: 2010/03/21 19:47
24. Josey would have been freaking out when those kids were slapping their shoes on the jungle gym but that Cocoa was not perturbed at all by it, what a great bird you have and thanks for sharing the video with us.
