I know exactly what you meant, we do spend a lot of money on our fids but they are like our human children in that we care about them the same as any other family member and so the money spent on toys and such is money well spent, true some of us may spend more than others but no one understands how we really feel about our fids but other bird people. Lori did get a lot of stuff in that shipment but look how many different kinds of toys she can make from all that and the hours of enjoyment it will provide, she may not have to buy anything more for quite a while so it is money well spent and I can't wait to see some of the toys she makes with the pieces.
That looks like a wonderful toy Janet and I may have to get one for Josey especially since Lori found it on sale, thats the magic word, thanks for sharing that with us.
Oscar is adorable and he has a nice setup to play on, he certainly is enjoying his toys at the moment, thanks for sharing the pics of Oscar, what a handsome fella he is.
I give my fids ice in their water bowl every day, I can appreciate that they might want a cool drink of water like I do though I have never seen one of them play with just the ice.
Wow these are some great captions but you have to admit it is a very funny picture.
Malikah that is another funny pic and here is my caption for it:
"I'm so thirtsy I could drink this all day"
What a nice gathering of parrot and bird enthusiasts even if it was raining but like Lisa I was shocked to see a Blue & Gold macaw sitting on a perch with a cockatiel, not something you see every day, thanks for sharing the pictures with us Sanggay.
Hey lets try something new, how about everyone try to come up with some good captions for this photo, lets try to see how many good ones we can think of, I will start off with mine.
"Hey, where do you think you are going?"
Looks nice and you had a lovely time too, made for a nice little day trip, thanks so much for sharing it with the rest of us, at least we got to see it thru your eyes.
This is great progress after only a month, remember it takes lots of time when dealing with an older bird and you have come far in a short period of time, imagine what you may be able to do in another month or two or a year from now, small steps is great so keep up the good work.
Eeekkk, it looks like Willow is trying to take a bath in the leaves which is perfectly acceptable but it makes for cute pictures, thanks for sharing them with us and btw I thought it looked more like kale than chard.
Thats funny Sanggay but wow he thought Cocoa was an eagle, most people would mistake them for a pigeon but he really believed she was an eagle just because you said she was, some people need to get out more, thanks for giving me a laugh today.
There is nohing better than listening to them drop over the side, they make a lot of racket and greys love that besides they love to see us pick them up only so they can do it all over again, greyt toy Janet, thanks for sharing it with us.
Hey there can be peace in the household and I know this thrills you to death, hope it lasts but I can't blame Dixie for wanting to give the conures a head shot, what a picture this paints, thanks for sharing that with us Robin.
Yes that was amazing and I am not even a horse lover but anyone can appreciate what she has done with this horse, thanks for sharing that with us Penny, it was awesome.
Men, who needs em but do we have any volunteers, probably not as I have scared them all off, oh well there are more where they came from, forum beware!
Ha ho hmmmm bwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
That was one of the cutest things I have seen, I have had finches before but none I could handle but this little fella is adorable, what a character he is, thanks for sharing him with us.
Let me put my thinking cap on and come up with something I know you would like, anyone else have any ideas just pm me with them because two or more heads together are better.;)
Well it makes lots of sense and stands to be read over and over for the message is clear.
Our shelters here are the same Janet, you have to agree to spay or neuter the animal you adopt.
That Mocha isn't taking any crap off of Cocoa even though he is much smaller than her but I bet that was cute to watch, thanks for sharing that with us.
May I suggest you word it a little different as when I first saw the title I almost choked on my heart, it was in my throat!
This letter you shared with us is quite an eye opener to say the least but yes I am aware this goes on every day of our lives and we have no one to blame but ourselves. I know I have had my cats and dogs spayed or neutered to keep them from breeding and if everyone would do that then we would have far less animals to have to put to sleep because no one wants them.
This is so sad but so true and who can read that letter and not have tears streaming down their cheeks.
Those are some gorgeous amazons, simply breathtaking colors, wow you have your work cut out for you, thanks for sharing a couple of pics of them with us, can't wait to hear more.
