No don't stop the relationship as it is good that someone else gets special treatment from your grey and they do pick their favorites and he obviously has chosen your neighbor but do caution your neighbor to not pet him down his back, under the wings or anywhere around the tail area as those are the erogenous zones and should be avoided to further excite your grey sexually and he could turn nippy toward him if he suddenly stops. Best to just tell him "No thanks" when he shows the signs and walk away for a few minutes.

I use both but I prefer fresh and during the summer months I had a lot of fresh stuff out of the garden but frozen is convenient and they usually get some of what we are having for dinner that night.

My goodness anyone might think you got a little excited about Timmy starting to talk, he obviously is beginning to feel a little more comfortable in his new home hence the talking so calm down man before you hyperventilate. It does sound like you have an allergy to your grey, dander most likely. You can develop an allergy at any time.

They look pretty straight to me but then they don't have to be perfect to work, don't be so hard on yourself as you did a good job but if I am ever in your neck of the woods I will come and inspect them for you!

Oh yeah that is typical of a grey to hang from the cage bars like a bat and attack their toys with much glee, you would think they were mad at them, my grey does the same thing except her attention is usually towards a big bell that she loves to hear make racket. A lot of greys will prefer one half of a couple over the other and it doesn't matter whether you are the one to feed her, clean her cage, give her treats or give scritches, they will do most anything for the favored one and like you have found out that you can get better treatment from her if Matt is not around. You may be playing second fiddle but you both have a separate relationship with her and it could change in the future as it is not unusual for them to switch their favorites. Thanks for the update on Maggie, she sounds like a normal grey so enjoy her.

They can tolerate the cheddar cheese and a small amount from time to time is beneficial since it contains calcium but I would go easy on the Cheeze Its for it contains lots of salt that they have no business having. My fids love cheddar cheese and when they see the package come out of the fridge they start begging for it.

I find that my fids enjoy ice cold water so I put ice cubes in their water bowl every time I change their water, I don't really see them playing with the cubes but they enjoy the cool of the water, is especially nice on a hot day. I have no doubt that if Bobo likes to bathe in ice water he asks for it, they are so smart but it seems most greys would rather have a bath or shower in cool water than warm.

I must admit I just throw a black sheet over my bird's cages but how colorful those are, you could make some for all the seasons and holidays, good job on it.

Smart move indeed, thats good business to try to get your bird hooked on a new toy, I have a couple of them type toys and Josey doesn't much care for them, oh well what works for one doesn't for another, I liked the previous toy you posted too, maybe I should look for one of them.

I think its best you keep your nose out of his cage, even I don't do that with Josey and I agree with Barbara about the Neosporin Plus. If this is his first day with the other two birds then yes he may be excited about that.

Barbara is right, call it women's intuition and maybe you did deserve it for you did something you should not have done so early in the relationship but don't take it personally and maybe that was his way of saying he was sorry, it could have been a lot worse you know.
