1. Talon likes to hang upside :silly: by climbing all over my curtains, then she starts yelling and attacking them. She won't let you help her if she's stuck tho, she wants to do everything herself! Stubborn Bird!!!
2. Caspersmum, What a great idea for this thread! And yes, I will definately switch from a razor blade (which gouges the floor if your not careful) to a credit card. A much better use for them!:cheer:
3. Talon

corn: boiled?

I would just to make it softer and to get any pesticides off of it. But I'd love to hear the answer for real.
4. I know that feeling all to well.
5. It would appear that they drop most of what they are eating. But they do get some of it in. They are messy eaters. So I wouldn't be too concerned about all that is falling out of their beak. I would recommend that you purchase a digital scale. You can find them pretty cheap if you look hard enough. Then I would weigh him daily for now to make sure he isn't dropping any weight. And never be afraid to ask any questions. We have all been in your shoes before. There is such helpful advice here. SO keep up the questions!! It will only make you a better parent to your baby.
6. Sorry, to hear about all of this. I'm sorry to tell you I have no experience with this, but maybe you could call a vet and get some advice. I would definately put an air cleaner in there, and continually air it out. I would be very careful about the fumes. I use this rule of thumb, if you can smell it, then definately your grey will. Be careful and ask a vet.
7. They stay dark until around 6-7 months, then they will lighten. They will then turn greenish/ yellow. Now Talons are grey, and she is 19 months ols. I understand they will turn blue, but I'm not sure at what age they do that. Someone here will have better advice.

Post edited by: Talon, at: 2007/05/17 18:04
