1. Greymeister! That's wonderful news! I'm so excited for you. Please post pictures as soon as you can, can't wait to see your new baby!! :cheer:
2. Okay guys, Due to circumstances beyond my control, I plead the fifth here. {Emotions-00020070} But I second Judy's last post as the "Joke of the Day!" (And I MIGHT just pm some of you with my answers......... ) :P
3. {Communicate-00020117}
4. It does look that way. The white part is a fine netting that keeps the bugs out. If you put them up to your face, you can see out of them very well. It's pretty deceiving.
5. Rae, Oh, that is the sweetest thing. She loves you so much....you are very lucky!!
6. Matt, First off, Welcome! Sorry, but my vote would be to send her on her way packing. If after all you've done to try and teach her how to behave around Ponti, she still won't listen to you, then she is disrespecting you and Ponti. If she continues with her behavior around Ponti, then Ponti will turn into the bird you describe. I know you want to help your cousin, and that's wonderful, but she will continue with her life in whatever manner she chooses, Ponti doesn't have that choice. Sorry, I'm not being helpful on this issue. It's just my opinon and what I would have to do if I was in your situation. And I would be fearful as you are, of leaving them alone for any lenghth of time.
7. I don't know Judy..............can we let Cd spy on us here?? I guess as admin. he has earned that right. So, I guess we have to make it real juicy!! {Feel-good-00020069}
8. I would just stick with the water. I'm not sure what you mean by tonic? But nothing should be added to his water unless your vet okays it in my opnion. We do give our grey watered doen juice, and she loves it, just for a variety.
9. LOL! Thanks, I appreciate it if this stays just between the two of us. And I often wondered why you are here so often as well.............................
10. Uh-oh! My secret is out.............................B)
11. Let us know how things go. Probably everything is fine, but peace of mind is well worth the visit!
12. Absolutely Judy! That's why I stick around here so much!!! :laugh: B)

Post edited by: Talon, at: 2007/06/21 21:23
13. Go Judy!! {Feel-good-00020069}
14. Deborah, Definitely a hotty! A little too young for me, but very cute indeed! :kiss:
15. Window shopping never hurt anyone...............I think. :P
16. CD, This is painful for you, I know. But it was an accident that we can all learn from. And again, I'm sorry. But his memory will always live on with us.
17. I hope the time passes quickly for you. Please let us know when he comes home! That is, if your not too wrapped up in him and find the time to keep us up to date!! :P
18. Talon

nite time

I think what your doing is a good way to wean them into it. We cover Talon as we have the same issue. We have covered her in the beginning as well. She's fine with it now.
19. Hi, Becca They are called fly masks. We put them on before they go outside everyday to keep the bugs out of their eyes and ears. They go nuts without them, shaking their heads constantly!! And that was a very good question!
20. Yes, they can get respiratory illnesses that will appear as cold type symptoms. Sneezing and sniffles and be signs of that. We went thru that with our grey. He did need to be put on antibiotics for 10 days to clear it up. I would definitely take him to the vet as soon as you are able. Greys hide their illness very well, and if you see signs, then you should take him to an avian vet to be safe.
21. Okay, I'll go first......................there are a lot of good looking ones here. How'd we pull that one off ladies???? Maybe we can start a "BOYS ONLY" thread, and we can post pictures of all of them! :woohoo: :woohoo:
22. Talon

SHOCK

GOOD FOR YOU, ICE!! You said exactly what I was thinking.:huh:
23. Eeeew! I and a roommate had snakes, lizards, years ago. Had a snake get out for 2 months before I found it behind some books on the bookshelf still alive. I hated feeding them live crickets, or goldfish! Yuk! Gave them all away when I moved. Never again!! :sick:
