1. Talon will do the same thing to one of my kids. She will attack him if given the opportunity. I think she thinks it's a game. He is the sweetest of my three boys, and never done anything to her to provoke her behavior towards him.
2. A tongue piercing??? Now that sounds painful!!!!:ohmy: Close to the bone is a bit more painful, but it couldn't possibly be worse than your tongue!! Yikes! {I will answer your question by pm.}
3. There is a lot if opinions posted here already about this. Everyone seems to do what works best for them. if you read them, you'll find some very good information.
4. I buy it at a small pet store here. It works really well, and is pet safe.

Post edited by: Talon, at: 2007/06/27 22:57
5. Karla, you are so funny! {Feel-good-0002006E} If it was that bad, I wouldn't have more than one! It does depend on where you get them...............
6. Good one Judy! And go for it Melissa!!:woohoo:
7. Judy..........................me too!:whistle:
8. Well, that makes 3 of us. Because I think Judy is right on with her advice!!
9. Yes, she sure is............{Feel-good-00020114}
10. Judy is right! We thought Talon was a boy. The breeder was certain. But after 1 year, we found out he was a she!! It does make you look at them differently when you find out they are a cute little girl instead of a tough little boy!!. When I received the phone call from the vet congratulating us on having a girl, I said to Talon, "Your a little girl!" and she said "YAAA!" The hardest part was getting used to saying SHE instead of HE!! Especially while typing posts!!:pinch:
11. No shots are needed. The vet will do a gram stain as well, which checks for many different types of bad bacteria that they might have. Good luck with your baby! Do you have a scale to check his weight on. If not, definitely purchase one asap.
12. Lidia Those are beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us. Is that what you call them......Tristram's Gackles? I've never heard of them.:dry:
13. Yup! Definitely caught my attention! :woohoo: I have 8 tattoo's, but 2 are not for public viewing as well. Perhaps a private viewing could be scheduled for those...........:whistle: I'm afraid there is no waiting list, like Islandgirltexas. :unsure: Pictures, I don't know if that will happen.....:pinch:
14. I use something called Doo-dissolve. You spray it on, and wait a little bit, then it comes off very easily.
15. Talon

crazy eyes!

That's so interesting. If you find more info. Let us know.
16. Well, I guess Talon is just a little strange in the food dept. She MUST have what we are eating, and if we don't go get her at lunch or dinner time, she will come flying out to the kitchen and land on your shoulder or hand so she doesn't miss out! Caspersmum, She does the same thing with the glass when she is done drinking, pushing it away like that. We are lucky, she will say "Thirsty Bird" when she is thirsty.
17. Great idea Frank! It would be really get those creative juices flowing.........:cheer: :cheer:
18. Welcome Heidi, you've joined a great family here. Everyone is so nice and well informed. You'll learn alot here and make some great friends. I applaud you in taking so much time to research before hand. Best of Luck to you, andkKeep us informed. {Feel-good-000200A2}
19. Does anyone's Bird do this when he or she is with you and wants your food..................Talon will give one quick shake of her head when she wants what you are eating, especially at meal time. Sometimes she adds a short little whistle at the same time. If you don't share with her, she'll do it over and over again until you feed her some of what you're eating. Does anyone else's grey do that???? :blink: :blink:
20. Stop with the numbers!!!!!!!!! I'm so confused!! Who's what? I don't get it!! :pinch: :pinch:
21. Aah! It's my favorite bunny!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Thank you Judy!!!!! You're so good to me!:silly:

Post edited by: Talon, at: 2007/06/26 17:39
22. Rox, I find that greys have a lot of the same personality & emotional issues that a horse does. We have always had horses, and they need to be treated with all the care and compassion as a grey. We don't believe in hitting our horses like some owners and trainers do. For example, I have found that if you hit a horse when they bite at you, it just encourages the behavior, greys exhibit the same behavior. There are a lot of similarities in them. I don't find that greys are high strung at all. But certainly do your research on them. They are a life long commitment. And you will absolutely love them!!
23. I like that name.......Drizzle.....it's cute! {Nature-00020095}
