  1. SERIOUSLY.......??????? You have got to be kidding! How dare you ignore my efforts, you had my info, at the very least, you could have called me. But for whatever reason, a 30 second phone call didn't seem to fit into your busy life. If you think I am not busy, you are sadly mistaken. You have NO IDEA! You say things take time? Well, it has been 2 months, and no contact from either one of you, even after multiple attempts of leaving messages. Like I said before, you aren't the only one who understands the job issues with an ACO, perhaps you didn't read my earlier post. That is WHY many of us had VOLUNTEERED OUR TIME AND EFFORTS in OUR busy lives to try and lighten the load. DON'T YOU COME ON AND THREATEN ME WITH "PLAY NICELY". You are messing with the wrong admin......... And to clarify, we are mad at the ACO for NOT accepting the help, or at least telling us she's not interested in our help. Perhaps if you just came on here and explained that you had health issues and your time on the internet was so limited, we would have understood. Perhaps, an "Here's an update from you", would have appeased us, but instead you chose to come here and get defensive. Re read my posts, you will see that it was the ACO I was MAD at, not YOU.
  2. Yes,you have a parrot, Welcome to our world. I have3 parrots who free fly around my house. Do I spend many minutes jumping up and down getting them off of the forbidden objects? YES! I re direct them, that's all you can do. It comes with the territory. Most members here know from past posts how I feel about wing clipping. All 3 of my birds were clipped when I got them. But no longer. I am not in favor of it. You have a parrot, a bird that flies, dealing with that fact comes with the territory.
  3. That looks like so much fun! You did a great job!
  4. Welcome back! I hope you can squeeze in a bit of time to share your experiences with us. I look forward to hearing from you.
  5. OMG. They are adorable!!!! All lined up like thatis so cute, I don't know how you part with them...
  6. You can post them where ever you feel it's appropriate.....grey lounge, other birds, photography room, off topic what ever you think fits. No problem being right or wrong, if it needs to be moved to a different room, we will do it. Look forward to seeing your pics, we love them!
  7. Yes, if he got out, there is no telling if he had a scuffle with another animal. He needs to be seen by an avian vet...
  8. testing........................

  10. Nice job on the play stand! I like it!!
  11. We have had a bit of a tech problem the last couple of days. The tech guys have been working on it and it should be fixed.
  12. This is a test thread.......
  13. Sounds normal. If you move the feathers, you will see bare skin, especially if they have new feathers growing in. As Dave has said, pictures will show more.
  14. Misty must be from the same flock as my Riiki! She lives for opening drawers, and throwing everything one by one onto the floor, then climbing in it and schooching all the way to the back! When she is not doing that, she is throwing dishes onto the floor to watch them break into millions of pieces...
  15. Welcome home, GREYT to have you back. Can't wait for the updates!
  16. Judy is right. So many members have lost AG babies because they are a novice at hand feeding....PLEASE find a VET who can do this for you. This bird is too young.....

    Blue

Oh, what sad news. I remember Blue......so Sorry to hear this..
  18. She had plenty of slack. But when you continually ignore potentially owners, She ran out of slack. I an know newcomer to the extensive duties and time constraints of an ACO. My sister was an ACO for many years, and my best friend also was an ACO both in 2 different cities. I understand that yes, ACO's are spread way too thin. That is WHY I and a handful of others have volunteered our time and efforts to help thus freeing her up for other duties. She has treated us and lost bird owners very hostile and unwilling to hear anything we have to say in helping this bird go home.
  19. I would not get an African Grey just so you can teach it to talk or do tricks. They are far more complicated than that. Those are nto the best reason for acquiring a life long pet that can live 40-60 years plus.
  20. Better to start this thread as WHAT HAVEN'T YOUR BIRDS CHEWED!!! With 2 AG and an Amazon, nothing is sacred in my house... That includes, doors, cupboards, wood work, Alarm systems...you name it.
