  1. Can't wait to meet little Zoe in person!!!
  2. I have a brand new lake on our back acre. You could send a few by FedEx overnight.
  3. Well, he found his way to the right place. I'm sure he'll enjoy the party.
  4. No drunken parronts were hurt in the making of this video.
  5. GreycieMae puts up with her drunken parronts...
  6. Thought this was funny... Funny they used a conure. That is so like a conure to have that sort of attitude.
  7. Whatever works. We have a Jardines that is VERY willful. When he gets hold of something he wants and knows you're coming to remove him or the thing...he will lunge and bite. Jardine bites are no playing matter (they clamp down and auger in with hydraulic beaks). I will actually use things to deal with the Jattitude, including gloves which you read all over the place is a no-no.
  8. I'd put up with a little or a lot of plucking for the affection. Nothing beats Grey affection.... Greycie's morning kisses (sounds very similar to what Isaac does)
  9. Good for Dorian. Now he just needs to convince you to build him a nice giant aviary.
  10. I absolutely love how they lift their little foot for us. Very adorable.
  11. Good for Lucy. Sounds like she is fitting in with you quite well.
  12. Didn't know that. My wife makes homemade - don't think she's uses either. Will have to check. On more than one occasion GreycieMae has had spaghetti sauce all over her face.
  13. What's wrong with spaghetti sauce other than it looks great all over the table, counter, fridge and the walls?
  14. I don't recall if you are keeping baby flighted but with us, our biggest hurdle to overcome was getting ourselves conditioned to going in and out of the doors. If I had to do it over again, I'd put a stuffed animal on my shoulder and condition myself not to go out the door with it on my shoulder. It took us MONTHS to stop making door mistakes. Other than that it took about 2 years to finally come up with a system that works around here to keep our sanity and keep them happy.
  15. Sounds like he has everything but the kitchen sink. <sorry, I couldn't resist>
  16. That stand looks great. We like going to the bird marts and loading up on the soak-n-serve and other bagged foods. We always have to buy a toy or three too.
  17. She looks like she's all business now - getting those wings ready.
  18. Cute video. I never noticed Alfie had a bit of a cross beak before.
  19. Isn't that the truth. GreycieMae LOVES to send the cob through the wood chipper.
  20. My personal feelings about the whole matter:
  21. Looks excellent. You'll probably find they have a lot less energy to be hoodlums when they are inside. We've gotten to where we don't like bad weather days because we know we're in for high energy destructos. After a day in the aviary all they want to do is sit there and stare.
  22. They love the orbits. Are you mounting it above the tree stand?
