Corky does the same thing after she rips apart some paper or cardboard and it goes all over the place.

I have something I call footsie it`s a one on one thing we and she gets into and seams to enjoy it. When she is on her perch or on my shoulder or chair back I take my finger and I say do you want to play footsie and move my finger up down and around and she trys to grab it and when she thinks she can she will close her foot when she thinks she has it but I pull my finger back and we keeping doing that and than she will change feet when the one gets tired. We can do this for about an hour. She does not bite but trys to grab my finger with her foot. When she is done she puts her head down for a rub and take care of her itch

Hello Chili and welcome. I have read about the hot 3 and it almost stoped me from taking Cricket my 14 or 15 year old blue fronted amazon that we rehomed a little over 2 years ago. She has turned out to be a great family member and very gentle, not what I was expecting. If she could she would be on my shoulder 23/7 One hour to eat. I could never give her up.

It`s sounds like Morgan is comming along fine. We were lucky with Cricket because she was on an all seed diet and in less than a month she would eat anything we put in front of her. She came with a lot of baggage but in less than 3 months she did a 180 and now is a great family member and a very sweet zon. I do not know exactly what I did right with her but what ever is was I am glad I did it.

We have a african grey congo a blue fronted amazon and two cockatiels. Corky our grey and Cricket our amazon are out together suppervised and they have a tolerate each other attitude. We never have the tiels out with them because Cricket the zon has had a trouble with smaller birds in the past so we don`t take the chance. Cricket is about 14 years old and we have had her for two years and Corky is 10 and she has been with us all her life. They talk to each other all day long and it`s fun to listen too Corky and Cricket are in picture 3 together
