Welcome j+k=abunch to the forum. We also do not do much with training except step up and step down. I beleave those comands are important.
It makes for a happy family but I am sure you know that.
Corky is in her molt and there are feathers in her bird bath but she still looks good.
Every now and than Corky gets something stuck in her beak (peanut butter) and it`s kind of funny watching her get it out but she does.
Welcome to the forum. The loss of your first grey is heart felt. I can not read about lost or sick birds because it makes me ill so I bypass those post.
Good luck with your new guy.
Hi and welcome to the forum. you will find members here have a passion for their greys(and their macaws and their too`s and their cockatiels, amazons you get the picture.)
I gess I can`t help much on training other than makeing sure she does the step up command so we can play and move her around. Most of our time is spent just doing things together as a family and haveing fun. She does talk a little and has started to play with toys that she never had befor.
We just kind of hang out and enjoy each other and that`s ok with me.
I beleave when you do things one on one that is fun for the both of you they look for that spec. time together and it does not make them aggressive but builds a bond that would be hard to brake.
