Hey all! I have recently switched my dogs and cats to a much better dog food and cat food. And now I'm focusing on my birds (yea, they should have been first!) So, I'm doing my research but need help! there is sooo much stuff out there. So far, I've looked at... http://www.harrisonsbirdfoods.com/products/hpc.html http://www.organicbirdfood.com/organic-bird-food/Foundation-Formula-Pellets/c22/p9/Foundation- Formula/product_info.html With those two, I've looked at the ingredients and they are so different. Then with Harrison's, I've noticed that the first ingredient in sunflower seeds. I thought they were bad in fat and weren't supposed to give them to birds. But then, the first ingredient with foundation formula is corn...which, corn is so bad for dogs so, it's in my mind that corn = BAD! ugh. so what are your thoughts? Sorry if this has been asked before

thanks Jay! I am (which is stupid) but having a hard time wrapping my head around the best combo for my birds. Everyone gives so much variety to their fids which is just awesome but i stress about it...lol i try to give fresh veggies/fruits but my birds refuse to eat it.... Well, i guess they don't refuse, they just eat a little and then throw the rest out. Then Jasper will only eat veggies, he will refuse the fruit. I ordered some of the harrisons, i want to see if they like that...hopefully they do...:side:

i have a umbrella...i love my bella! (my umbrella cockatoo) i can't believe they clipped her wings. poor little girl! I found that Bella is so much more advertrous with toys ... jasper (grey) hated foraging toys but bella is in love with them. When i'm home, she comes out and i we have our loud time. turn the music on and get her danceing and get energy out. i just try to make her as tired as i can before she goes 'night night' and then... i just turn on music before i leave... good luck! poor baby! how is the guy doing? sorry stazel and beanie are being angry and moody!!! hopefully that gets better soon!

i should add he's about 13-14 months old

Ok, a quick question for you all! We've had Jasper for at least 5 months now. I have never, ever felt a pin feather coming in. hardly seen any old feathers on the ground... Is this normal? He's starting to lose the down feathers... All the other birds i've had they are always growing new feathers... Thanks in advance!
