I really like the name sassy and I'am thinking about Hobo for a male name , if I have time saturday or sunday I will grab a few shots of her/him before I go to work , looks like I will be makeing some new foot toys soon I had about 5 or 6 on top of his cage and he has one left that isn't all chewed up , he sure is a chewer lol , I sure will ask questions if anything comes up right now I'am tring to get a poop sample from him that I can actually make out on paper the first night we got him he poop was very watery so tonight I put down some white paper towels in the bottom of his cage so I can check it tomorrow I also need to make him a vet appt soon as soon I have the 30th off so I will call the vet next week and make him one and I want him to take his band off yep and I need a new sig , as soon as hubby makes some more decals I will use one if them but you know how slow men are lol

this time I took hubby to see the yellow crown babies , I just adore theese babies he felt the same way , one was real shy very shy the other 2 were loud and sassy lol and wanted all of your attention , well we did it , we brought home the rowdiest and biggest baby we are hopeing he is a boy but I guess a girl would be ok to , he /she is 4 months old and I will get some pics sometime soon probably on monday , I have to work yukky hours this weekend and I'am off monday and tuesday so one of thoose days I need help on a unisex name , something that wil fit a girl or a boy any ideas?

Cody talks when Cody wants to talk lol I can understand some of the things he says and some I'am not sure what he is saying but he will not repeat anything if you try to get him to say something ,and he still does the chicken noises lol but now he adds on a duck to the chicken ,so I never know what I'am going to hear from him

my favorite bird their was a pallid green quaker I love the color they also go by dark cinnamins and he looked really big for a baby but his price was 300.00 and they didn't know if he was a boy or a girl

their is one about 15 minutes away from me every April and they have lots of toy vendors but not as many birds , that's ok I go for the great deals on the toys

Cody loves a shower I will have to get a video of him , he had his first shower the day after we adopted him I wanted him to get use to showers early

the fair was in Livonia Michigan about 20 minutes from me I use Pet Focus to clean all my cages , I buy the 32 ounce concentrated bottle mix 1 ounce of pet focus in a 16 ounce spray bottle and there you go,the concentrated bottle lasts forever

maybe that was not a good idea , I was always told not to give any female parrot and tent or a snuggle hut because it will only encourage them to lay eggs and now she has the perfect spot to lay her eggs , thats another reason why I try to adopt male parrots not female if I can but I have a female ringneck and no tents or snuggy huts for her

It was a nice one but not a big bird fair, seen lots and lots of birds more birds then toy vendors I actually went to buy some bird toys because they have such great prices on them at the bird fairs but they only had 2 vendors that were selling toys but I found 4 or 5 neat toys and a really nice wooden swing for Echo and 2 nice wood perches it's always nice to have a few extra perches on hand they had the most beautiful birds especially the canary's and the love birds , I came close to bring a male orange canary home but I decided nottt maybe in my golden years when I don't have enough enery to take care of parrots lol I also didn't see not one Amazon but I did see 5 greys one was a baby and sooo cute

I have a question what is the difference between a yellow crowned amazon and a Panama they look the same to me just curious

at the bird store and I just had to play with them lol , my usual groomer that does all my birds nails was off work last week so I took Peanut to the bird store to get her nails done and I just fell in love with theese 3 babies and I love the zon smell to bad I have no more room for another bird here plus they want 1400.00 for a yellow crowned amazon and then a cage and toys and perches , costly little babies lol but so sweet

I go with the sheet crew lol all of mine get covered with a sheet a night

Opey was a rehome from an elderly ladie that a good friend of mine at work knew , Cody came from a breeder about an hour away from me I had planned on adopting a baby from a breeder that is an excellent breeder but I had a long wait , Cody was on CL but this was not along time breeder in fact it was her second clutch of baby greys she had one baby left that was Cody but Cody is handicapped his leg was broke in the nest as a baby and it healed back crooked , he doesn't know their is anything wrong with him and he climbs and flys and acts like a normal grey Echo is a rehome , a lady that lived in the next building was looking for a good home for him because she was moveing and could not take Echo with her , so we adopted Echo Peanut our baby ringneck came from a really good breeder and she was very well socialized and taken care of , she is very cuddly for a ringneck

today he was his usual loud self lol and he had a vet appointment at 5pm to get his nails done , I only let the vet do his nails because of his handicap and I want to make sure they are done right , he said Hello to the vet which was cute and my vet said well hello Cody , he was saying sonme different things today but I couldn't make out exactly what he was saying and sometimes he has a real soft voice and other times he sounds like a normal grey

cleanse do you mean given a bath or a shower? I would wait until the baby is at least 6 or 7 weeks old then you can spray mist them a little with some warm water but make sure you do this early in the day so the baby will dry before you put them to bed at night
