ok everyone decided they didn't like Zupreme so that was a waste of money I ended up giving almost all of it away to a friend of mine that has parrots , so now they are all eating Roudybush medium and small size and I just started Cody and Rocky on Harrisons Lifetime Pepper , they really seem to like that mix of pellets also everyone gets Higgins Celestrial Blend I add to their pellets every few days , not every day because then they wouldn't eat their pellets so every 2or 3 days they get it I never knew birds were so picky

Cody speaks Amazon lol since the day we adopted Rocky almost everything Cody says sounds like Rocky talking if I'am out of the room I have to come back in to see if it's Cody talking or Rocky, he has Rocky's Hiiiii and Hello down pack plus he still does his chicken noises lol

Rocky shares the playstand with Cody our grey which I don't think he is to happy about lol and Cody might feel the same way but they are learning to share

Hubby took theese of Rocky while I was at work Rocky was on Peanuts cage This is Rocky's cage

you only take a very small amount of blood , their is a circle on the blood card and you put the blood in that circle I don't do the feather one because I think that would be much harder , I just did my ringneck a few weeks ago and she was real easy she never made a sound and never even jerked it didn't bother her at all but since Rocky is quite a bit bigger I will help and let my groomer do it so if he /she gets mad it will be at my groomer lol not me

I thought about Roxsie if he is a she but I work with a girl named Rocky so I guess we will keep Rocky her real name is Rachel but everyone calls her Rocky

all went great he even decided to walk up my vets arm and say Hi lol my vet liked that one , his blood work came back good and he said his weight is good , he weighs 475 , he was real impressed with him and he thinks he is a boy but we still don't know , I decided to wait until wednesday to do the dna test I will have my groomer do it and send it off the next day I didn't want to stress him all in one day I found out today he loves carrots and sugar snap peas

Hiyaaa Cricket Rocky goes to the vet tomorrow for his first exam ,hope he passes with flying colors , I also plan on doing a dna test on him tomorrow and get it sent out by monday , I sent to Avian BioTech and got the kit so cross fingers everyone for a boy

I use it on low cool and keep it at least 8 or 10 away from their skin

I didn't know chickens like sunflower seeds I will try to get some more pics in the next few weeks

I also thought about a Too but then the thought vanished when I read up on them and heard their screams and I already have a velcro bird named Echo I can't imagine haveing a large velcro bird but gl in your choice and what about a amazon , I love our new Rocky zon , and I believe he is going to be loud enough

I have been working alot lately , it's inventory time at my store so I have been putting in some extra hours , I had off today and have friday off , I will be glad when friday gets here I have a vet appt for Rocky and I think he/she has a bacteria infection , today his poops were a light green and yesterday the clear in them had a yellowish tint so I hope it's just a bacteria infection , he seems normal , playing being loud lol and eating good and he had he a really good shower today but he hates the blow dryer I found out I think he is just scared of it

what a geourgeous little baby , love thoose black eyes you could still keep the name boy or girl I don't think Gandalf would mind, what the heck we just named our baby zon Rocky so I'am hopeing he is a boy if not we are still keeping the name

it's not sassy or Hobo ,I made a list and we talked about it and since I have named all the birds except Opey , Opey was already named and he knows his name very well , hubby just goes along with the names I let him name this one so we have Rocky so I really hope Rocky is a boy but I guess Rocky can be boy or girl , it comes up under unisex names

we are hopeing for a boy lol but a girl would be ok to hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can get some stamps so I can mail a check for his dna results, I'am waiting on the kit right now and I can do the test myslef and send it off ty for all the complaments

I think we have picked Hobo for a boy and Sassy for a girl thoose names sound good to me, but for right now he is baby bird lol until I get his dna test done so when I send for the test results I'am just going to put baby zon on his dna certificate and I took him to meet his groomer this morning and the pet store , he did good but mom (me) got a speeding ticket on the way back grrrrrrr so thats a good $100.00 bucks to pay out
