  3. Cody's new cage is totally perfect for him and he is now brave and dareing lol he was trying to climb up on a Boing today that is on the side of Opeys cage I just watched and he made it half way so not bad then he flew off lol if you didn't see his leg he acts like a perfectly normal grey and the vet told me he doesn't know he is handicapped since he has been since around 4 weeks old in his mind he thinks he is just a normal grey , either way he is our Cody and we love him dearly and he will always have a good home with us
  4. thats a good cage , I have one like that only in a Sandstone color for sale right now , it used to be Codys cage but I bought Cody the Kings 33 inch Aluminum cage because of Codys disabillity he needed a shorter and smaller cage and the new Kings cage is working great for him and it's easy to take care of , you could buy that cage in a different color from me for 225.00 I'am in Michigan not sure where you are

  8. hopeing you are reunited with Murphy real soon
  9. I have a male cag and a female tag and so far nothing has happened but they are both still kinda young , I always try to go for the males , it's the egg binding thing that scares me
  10. congrads u2 looks like you found a great companion and I agree with judy you should have a flight suit or a harness on your baby , believe me I almost lost my quaker one day and his wings are clipped, the flight suit I had on him or thought I had it on him good came off and he took off a few feet good thing it was not a windy day out , I scooped him up and took him inside now I double check when I put a harness or a flight suit on any of my birds before they go out the door
  11. great name welcome to the forum Todd
  12. get a little green cheek , they are pretty quiet , fun and easy to take care of
  13. time sure does go fast , he had lots of his fav fruit today , blackberries, watermelon and strawberries after he ate his veggies and Cody never ever turns down any food lol

  15. Cody will be a year old thursday , boy how time flies , I can't belive our baby boy is a year old already , but thats ok he stil likes to cuddle
  16. I try to keep all things I know the birds can destroy put up as far as the cables go Cody's cage is right in front of our cable outlet and the plugs for his spectram lighting , I have a good sized board in front of both of them and so far that is working and Codys cage doesn't go all the ways to the ground that helps to he has a shorter cage , I still have to keep my eyes on him , right now he likes to get a hold of our blinds that cover the living room window and he has managed to chew a few of them but I replaced them and I have one extra panel just incase
  17. heres what the whole cage looks like http://www.kingscages.com/SearchResults.aspx?CategoryID=Cages&SubCatID=Aluminum I thought it was 34 ooops it's 33 but its working fine for Cody
  18. Cody has a new cage as of last week , I went broke and bought him the Kings Aluminum Cage, it's smaller then the cage he had but he never used all the space in the other cage and it was a 42 inch cage , this cage is a 34 inch and it's shorter it doesn't come down to the floor , he is doing great in it and it has a larger playtop for him, he liked it right away with Cody's disability he isn't active in a cage so he didn't need a huge cage , heres some pics of him and his new cage
  19. to start with I have 6 birds, the greys are the easiest to take care of and they are not demanding birds, I love playing with and cuddling my 2 greys , my sunconure is the loudest and most demanding bird I have ever had and he is a total velcro bird , if I try to walk past his cage garuntee he will jump on my arm and hang on to me , most of the time he likes to just hang on my shirt upside down lol he is a character and a loud one but I love my little Echo
