If I may, Your baby's are young, give them time, Mash's and Smashe won't hurt them....Find the right combos. Jayd
  3. Thank you Judy so much, I do love trying to give solid advice, I take each one to heart, I'm doing 5 PM's/email baby's right now. I really feel most advice given, especially about hand feeding must have some what of a standard from all of us, that's all I meant. Thank you Jayd This forum means so much to me, all of you do...
  4. Sorry, My mistake. In your video, you can see the palm leaves blowing, and I never said there was a Predator....Please, always feel welcome to post any feelings you might have, and whether I agree or not, I will respect it... I'm sorry you don't like the way I try to get a point across, I just wish people would read them for what they say and not try to find other meanings. I wish the best to you and yours....All our birds are free flying in our home, not outside, we have carry-all's and harnesses for that... Jayd

    Veggie Baby food

Thank you, this is a copy of the rest of what our fids get in a day...Jayd Fresh Veggie Time!!! Each bird gets, depending on what there favorite is: Some Chopped Dark Green Leafy veggie, slice or 2 of Squash, [Zucchini, Yellow, Chayote] 1-2 Grapes, A couple Pieces of Pepper, [Red, Yellow, Orange, Anaheim, etc] 1-2 Sweet Peas in pod. Once or twice a week they get their Egg, cooked Corn on the Cob, Chicken Drum Stick, Bites of Turkey and Fish. Seed and Pellets are kept in there cage after dinner till breakfast! Note: this alone, with Dark Green Leafy veggies, and Sunlight for Calcium absorption, has more dietary needs then pellets or seeds! Ad a little Protein, ie: White Chicken/Turkey/Salmon/Tuna, and a Well Done Hard boiled egg, shell and all, a couple times a week for a complete healthy diet. Keep a little pellets and seeds available, our large fid's are given approx 1/8 cup a day. Jayd
  7. I'm sorry you feel this way, some of the most knowledgeable people are members of this Forum, Dave, Dan, Janet/luvparrots and JudyGram are always there for every one. My choice to leave has nothing to do with "Ego", and all to do with every one being able to get along and agree with at least 90% of what should be done...Stepping aside for this reason is not ego, but true caring...Sorry you feel I,m wishy-washy, but thats me. With that said, "All the Grey't people of this forum are here to help you, but remember, they also have a life outside of the forum...Jayd Dan, if you wish, I second that you lock this thread...
  8. If I may, Our 'TOO's ignore our Grey's and visa versa.....

  11. Here's just some of the recent threads and posts. 12. Hi, If a bird has a mild sour crop or as humans call "oral thrush", it helps to reduce or eliminate this problem besides reintroducing good bactria to the gut....[pro-biotic] Thanks Jayd
  13. Go ahead bathe again, When you give a Grey a good bath, it washes off the "White" dander, which has accumulated....Hence, the baby is darker...Jayd
  14. Hi,was your aloe juice fresh? It must be refrigerated after it's open.. Okay, take the bath one day and spray the aloe juice another.. Not both on the same day, you want the aloe to soak in...Thanks Jayd
  15. Hi, This is part of the bonding process, it's normal and can start before the age of one, if you wish, you can give your baby tastes of Plain low fat yogurt a little a day, and watch the baby. When ever the do this, say Thank you, and walk away. Generally, a Zon sexualy matures between the ages of 5 and 12 years old. Thanks Jayd

  21. Gee, I'm really sorry, don't mean to be a party pooper, Really nice video, Nice breeze, open pool, and a medium bird flying by in the back round, could have been a predator, wasn't, but could have been, nice open pool that a wind caught Grey [or three] could have been blown into...I'm very sorry if you don't like what I'm writing, but maybe you didn't know a clipped Grey, with that much breeze could be scared by another bird flying over and be lost in the open pool. Please forgive me, I mean no malice..Jayd
  22. Thank you, I enjoyed that.....Jayd

    Shy Bird

:)Our fids are vocal, they make sounds to let us know whats going on and to express their emotions. Sit by your baby's cage, read to Taz, sing, just talk, and be calm, Taz can senses tour emotions, so relax. Time is the answer....Jayd
