Gosh, thanks Dee - your sympathy runneth over - for Harvey!!!! Nobody knows how bright I am - I could be as dim as a 10 watt bulb too - the poor bird will never learn!!!
Bless him - he needs a little jumper knitted! He is gorgeous - such lovely colours on his head. Congratulations in taking Guapo - you knew you would!! Looking forward to hearing of your progress

Now those baby coconuts Janet - when they appear will you adopt them - you know I couldn't cope with more than one pet!!!
Ha Ha! Yes - they know what they want and they know how to get it! It's taken Koko a couple of days - but heyhoe - the solution is the nip! Clever Koko
You must have sat there with the video running all day for that! How on earth did you get it on tape - it's such a snapshot decision that they make to do this!
Harvey does this and it always starts on the playtop on his cage - then all hell breaks loose - he careers around the house at the top of his lungs too! Noisy little so and so!!!
Great video Lyn! Well done for catching it!
Tyco's found a boyfriend, Tyco's found a boyfriend!!! Ah, bless her - tell her he's out of he league - she's just this plain looking grey thing whilst he, well, we've all seen the photos!!
Bless her - she's not going to be outdone by this HUGE intruder is she!!
Sorry to hear you aren't well - this flu is flying through the population. Good of you to pack your dad off though - it's the elderly that it's hitting worst, so prevention is definitely the key word here!
How lovely that Dorian said "I love you" when you are feeling so low - that would brighten my day too. Get well soon xx
Goodness me Sandra - that's quite a collection! I don't know how you all cope with your tribes - Harvey keeps me busy enough!!! Thank you for sharing your flock with us - I don't know how you keep up.
Jac is beautiful - and I love the abbreviation of "Just a Cat". Quite the little model there - working the camera! Thanks for sharing Jac with us. Sprinkle Sprikle (that's my karma wand - I think I'm tinkerbell!!)

Stop trying to poach my punters!! I gave him two karmas - one for looking stupid and.........actually, just two for looking stupid!!!
I come here for sympathy and what do I get!!! I shall look out for that flying coconut Janet!
Well, an update now - he has taken the colourful layer off the cardboard that is covering the holes, but the cardboard is still intact!! I came in from work yesterday and he was sitting happily "cuddling" the coconut - his head tilted, leaning on it! Perhaps he think's it's his mother!!!!
He's still thick!
I agree Julie - their little lungs, bless them. I would never smoke near children (or pets) - not that I smoke, just I would have respect for all things living.
Hannah - I use reed diffusers - they are safe to be used as air fresheners around birds (I only know this because a vet advised me to use them with my cockatiel).
In candles there are chemicals in the wax that make the scent (it's obviously not real orchid, rose etc) and that's the harmful burning ingredient.
Oh My God! I have nearly weed myself laughing!!! Bernie this is absolutely hilarious and has brightened my cold, dark evening! Thank you so much!! Brilliant!!!!!!
Congratulations Brittany. I have two young nieces (1½ and 4) and have to make sure that when I have them I never leave them unattended when Harvey is out. It's all work in progress - You're a woman - you can multi-task!
Having a human baby changes your life anyway - you just have to juggle your other baby into your busier schedule.
I can come into the living room with something and Harvey immediately spots me and rushes across to see what it is - greedy, greedy boy!
Pasta's not a favourite for Harvey - well, he likes to throw it, but not eat it!!!
Oh they are so beautiful - I love fish!! They are so soothing and gentle (obviously the other three are great too)!! My karma wand is sprinkled here too!!

I've got a waterproof table cloth under his playstand - but it's the walls, doors and blinds that he manages to spray - perhaps I should just go the whole hog and put his playstand IN the shower cubicle!!! :woohoo:
Hi Jenny - if you get your baby from John at Parrot Care he weans them all on Kaytee. He will give you fact sheets and things to help you with the feeding and health process. You'll soon find you discard everything he says anyway and take guidance from this lot! That's how Harvey is so happy and healthy
Check you out - David Bailey!!!
What an absolutely excellent picture of Emma - it's amazing to see what a fantastic wing span they have isn't it.
I'm looking forward to more of your pictures now that you've mastered your camera
Oh my, my whole name - sorry mother!!!
Oh, I didn't add - he has found a use for it - he gets on top of it and swings it against the bars of the cage to make a fantastic banging noise!
Perhaps I'm the one who has this toy wrong - maybe it is a swing - how dare I doubt him
