  1. Nice to hear about your family Amanda - it's great that you gave Baby a loving home and it's nice to read of the progress you are making with him - keep up the good work!!
  2. They are just so cute Dave - I bet you are having the time of your life with them! They just look like they are set for mischief!!!
  3. Did you have your conversation playing out over the speakers? Harvey goes mad and won't shut up anytime I'm talking to anyone on skype - funny thing is - it's only people with different accents - he doesn't give a hoot when the family call!!! Harvey's quite good and will sit on his playstand and amuse himself for quite a length of time when we are in the living room with him though!
  4. Fab pictures of Emma - thanks for sharing them
  5. Ah, how nice of you to look after this cat in that way and ensure no further little kitties for her. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Karma to you too.
  6. {Feel-good-0002006E} I was looking at that picture from Dan thinking - ah - great sunrise/sunset!!!! Didn't focus in on the starring role!!
  7. For that effort Julie I give you karma!! You just didn't give up Yay! A glove!!!
  8. Pyroe87 wrote: Honestly? I gave up! He just won't eat it - I have tried and tried and he just won't eat it! I bought the first bag in July and I just kept throwing it out - the bowl was totally untouched!!! I bought the second bag at the start of October - and he didn't touch it again. Waste of time and effort!!! He will eat the Kaytee - so I guess I will leave him with it - he's happy. He eats loads of veg - there's not much he will refuse - I guess I am lucky in that respect - as Dave says - not a lot do! He's actually sitting here with a broccoli floret at the top of my door chewing away (the broccoli - not the door!!)
  9. Noooo! What do you put ON your hand that fits the description. You are so close!!!!
  10. Nooooo! Don't! You are soooooooo near!!!
  11. Right! FINGER puppet - now put that with the clues and you'll get the answer.
  12. No - you were nearer with the puppet - think of a type of puppet and this will lead you to the item!!!
  13. Unless you're a maths genius you'll never get the percentages! It's a learning curve - you throw a bit of that in, and a touch of that and offer a bowl of this! You will find the happy medium yourself. You will see what your baby eats and doesn't eat and know to up the amounts (apart from the seed as he/she will definitely scoff that first!!). Harvey loves broccoli and spinach and eats it all up - so I give him more. He'll then eat so many pellets and then eat a bit seed. You'll find the happy medium - relax, don't worry!!!
  14. That has to be one of the cutest photographs I have ever seen of a baby grey. I wish you were my next door neighbour and I could come around and play with them each day!!
  15. Oh the awful towel. I know the vet and his nurse are so trained to do this and it's like second nature to them - but I HATE seeing it happen. I know they have to do it - I wouldn't fancy a bite either - but it broke my heart when they did it to my tiel - I have Harvey's annual MOT to book for December and I'm dreading this. Good tip Judy - I might try that with Harvey to try and ease the stress - mind you - if I've been in the shower and I have the towel on my hair he quite happily lands on it!
  16. No - but I can see where you are going with that one = nearly, but not quite
  17. I've missed that gorgeous picture on the bottom of your postings Caroline - each time I see it I go - aaah! Welcome back xx
  18. Poor little brother 3. Like you've admitted - you've got your hands full. The breeder sounds like a great couple and I'm sure no harm will come to the little one.
  19. Harvey goes for my husband every time that he goes to pick him up. My husband does what Dan describes - he pulls his sweater down over his hand and then tells Harvey to step up - it is very strange, but he then steps up and doesn't bite! He clearly does want to step up as he is starting to lift his foot - he is exerting his authority by biting - and knows he can! Good luck - the sweater thing really works
  20. Supernova wrote: Liar, liar your bum's on fire! I'm going to tell Elaine.......! :woohoo:
  21. Ah, bless him - you can tell that straight after that shot he flew away!! I'm sure shortly that you'll not be able to get Rishi off the atom
  22. Ah - he's gorgeous Bernie - what a little sweetie - I wouldn't let him go either!! You say he's welcome any time - you don't mention that the mother in law is
  23. They are both beautiful horses Sheila - I bet you miss them very much.
  24. Ha Ha Ha Ha! Please tell me that the car did not move!!! Karma to you, for being an idiot!!!
