So just a couple days since my original post, She is already saying more! Now she has added these couple things Your so Pretty Your so sweet You wanna go outside? Hi Pretty girl (yep she finally got the "pretty" figured out, lol) *smacks lips* then says mmmmmmmmmmm It is amazing how fast they pick up new stuff once they really get the hang of talking!

Thats great! How long have you been teaching her to sing that Beach boys song? Seem like she is picking up really fast!

How are things going with little Sport???

Maybe when you get your new one you can get a pair of pliers and pinch it shut even tighter on that metal part just for safe measure....

Yeah thats true you guys, I forgot how needy those little beauties are. I have never gotten one for this reason. They need attention like a dog or something, or maybe even more I have heard. I know of people that have had to get rid off all thier other animals because of a cockatoo. So they are great but in the right family.

Lol, Thats so funny, I dont care Jacarual if you use it, I dont know what to tell you about it reminding you of your washing machine though, lol....Actually I have never heard of one called Calypso. I love hearing her little voice though, Its so awesome!!! I thought the day would never come. I hope she really catches on and is as good a talker as some on the form here! If not, She is still the sweetest thing ever though And I am so happy she at least says these few things so that I never have to wonder what her voice would sound like while she is speaking human, hehehe

Yikes!!! Yeah I am too scared to use one for that reason, And Calypso doesnt like it anyway so I returned mine. Glad your baby is safe and sound!

I dont know too much about, But Welcome back! lol I know it is better to get another bird and keep it in a differant cage like your saying or else they will bond to each other and less to you...And I also think I read on here a while back, it doesnt have to be another grey, Just having another "bird or parrot" in the house could help "keep her company" you could say. The others will be more helpful I am sure. But I would say go ahead and get your Umbrella Cockatoo. Just dont give it more attention that Chloe. Actually You would want to give Chloe even MORE attention so she doesnt feel like she is being replaced. Thats my opinion if it matters haha!

Calypso has come so far the last few weeks with her talking! Just thought I would share some new things she says. Hello Hi Hi Girl ( I dont say this to her, I say "Hi PRETTY girl, and she just ommits the "pretty") Hi Baby Hi baby girl Peek a boo And for her newest..........She says, "whats wrong?" She still sounds a little robot like with a few of those words, but getting more human sounding everyday... Just thought I would share!
