Today I came home to see that the Frog on Emma's Wishing Paddy is looking a little indecent. She has completely lost her hat and I can see her complete fanny now.
It's nice to know that Emma isn't bored when I'm not home.{Feel-good-0002006E}

Yay!! Can't wait to see pics or vids of everything!! I assure you that you'll love it all from the parrot asylum!! Shrya usually also sends out "complimentary hard parrot candy foot toys" Both of my parrots love those!

Post edited by: lovethatgrey, at: 2010/03/26 01:52

It is charged with Mucho eye candy, much appreciated beads, and hemp Knots galore. I am very pleased with the craftmanship and detail. Sachi seems to enjoy it too!

If it helps to provide Avian enrichment to little Hawkins.. Then by all means.. Blame it on innocent Emma. Did you purchase from The Parrot Asylum? They ship Worldwide.
Thanks Guys! I am very pleased with and super glad that Emma appreciates it too. It feels good when they enjoy a toy that you purchased for them. It will be interesting to see what the toy looks like when I go home tonight.
What can I say? It's absolutely awesome!! {Feel-good-00020114}Shyra created a HIT with my Emma. So many knots, so many foottoys, lot of hemp and leather, so many textures. I highly recommend this toy to any parrot owner who has a parrot who loves these qualities in a toy. Emma is truly captivated!! My only regret is that I only purchased one.
Thanks so much Shrya. I'd say that the pictures and video speak for themselves

It arrived today and I'm so happy, Received it as I was stepping out to go to work and took it to work with me instead of giving it to Emma because I wanted to examine and admire it in peace before they dismantle it. Shyra's handmade customized toy is exactly as I requested. Lots of knots, lots of foot toys, and lots of texture!{Feel-good-00020114}
This toy ought to keep Emma interested and occupied. We will find out soon enough!!

Thank you so much GreyForum family!!
Emma's photo has "magically disappeared" from the FlyingSouth website in the last 2 hours. I didn't even know. It was my good friend who looked on the site and asked me "Where's Emma?"
I kept telling her to look at the bottom of the page .. when she still couldn't see it .. I looked myself and am feeling much better NOW!{Feel-good-00020114}
I use Chickpeas and kidney beans. For grains, I use millet, amaranthe, quinoa, brown rice, spelt, kamut, long grain brown rice.
Don't forget to always soak your beans overnight. This is a MUST!{Feel-good-00020114}

Post edited by: lovethatgrey, at: 2010/03/23 02:30
This bad experience has made me feel a bit differently about posting pictures on the internet. I don't mind sharing knowledge and info with other parrot owners but now I'm not sure how I feel about sharing my photos anymore.
Here's the situation. I've been trying to wean Emma completely off of Harrisons High Potency nuggets and have her eat only Harrisons Lifetime nuggets. I looked at my Emma journal and we've been at it for at least 5 months.
Introducing her to the High Potency nuggets was relatively easy and took only a few weeks. The Lifetime ones are not as easy for her to accept. The only way she'll actually ingest them is if they are softened up in her warm mash and her maximum is 4 a day and nothing more.
If I give her anymore than that she winds up flinging them all over my walls.:blink:
The High Potency ones, she still enjoys and eats them with pleasure and very little encouraging. Have any of you ever switched a parrot over from HP to LT with complete success? :huh:
At the moment I have 2 parrot and 3 types of pellets in my home
