At last Khushi the father allowed us to have a look. There are two chicks and 3 eggs still unhatched.
We could get only one chick in this picture. I am not resizing the picture because it might be difficult to see the chick.
Jayd,
I am so sorry to hear this.
I now have something to confess. I have also not posted about Rishi's condition WHICH IS IDENTICAL TO SPOCK'S.
The additional complication is that the nearest avian vet is 450 km away in a neighbouring country.
Since October of last year, we have been giving the best nutrition possible to Rishi, and more importantly lots and lots of love and attention.
The last time Rishi was very sick (Sept '09) my wife and I firmly believe that it was the collective thoghts and prayers of the members that pulled him through.
Let us hope and pray that both these wonderful birds recover together with the love and prayers of the members.
I wanted to surprise everyone with pics of the chicks but I cannot wait !! Pakshi (female) & Khushi, my tiels had 5 eggs and the first one has hatched. You can see the shell in this photo. I can hear the peeps but cannot see the chick.
I am too scared to disturb her, so I will have to wait. Needless to say the first photos will be posted here.
Pakshi loves to do this and can sit watching me throughout my weekend 2 hour afternoon nap.

Pakshi will tie herself up in knots for scratches

Hi Martinel, there seems to be a problem with the photo attachment in a post.
I had the same problem. Use photobucket. Upload your photo to photobucket, copy the image link in photobucket and paste it in your post here.

Now that I have discovered photobucket, you will have to beg me to stop sharing !!! More than willing to share. Just give me some time to upload and organise my photos in photobucket.
This is not the first time that I am attaching a photo to a post. I hae done it several times. So, it is not that I do not know how.
The pic I am trying to attach meets all the necessaey conditions.
Instead of using photobucket, has anyone tried to attach a pic directly and checked if it is working?

Post edited by: ramsabi, at: 2010/01/28 04:27
