I do talk to the breeder once a week though and she tells me all about her babies. I've had alot of fun reading through the posts here about just about everything and I have purchased everything from Dave's palm oil to the aloe vera gel and juice. a couple of desktop perches, large cage, travel cage, travel pack, harness. name it I have it, but no feathered friend. :silly: It is fun to get ready!!! Can't wait to see your pictures.
  13. A guy goes to the pet store to buy a parrot and finds one with a green string tied to his left foot and a red string tied to his right. He asks the shopkeeper the significance of the strings. The shopkeeper says, "This is a highly intelligent parrot, if you pull the green string he speaks French; if you pull the red string he speaks German." The curious customer asks, "What happens if you pull both strings at the same time?" "I fall off my perch you fool." screeches the parrot.
  14. You win a 2-week trip to Italy but it includes all the kids in your daycare, excluding parents. I wish I could swim.

  17. Scott I looked up the Arizona Aviculture Society on the internet. They have been a society for 30 years and sponsor 3 bird marts a year. They are believed to be the oldest bird organization in Arizona. They sound beauty reliable. But you need to research this yourself, I'm from Washington so don't know this organization. Just look it up and check it out. Good Luck.

  23. Sounds like he wants his large cage back. If he is only stepping up when the lights are out, sounds like he thinks he is going to bed (in his old large cage) What was the reasoning behind taking it away? Someone with experience with this problem will be along to help. Right Dan or Dave or...

  25. Welcome Ste, Jess and Sparky. Love that name Sparky. Do you know the history of why they named the grey Sparky? Are the greys Tags (bone colored beaks) or Cags (black beaks with red tails); and if you have pictures to share I'd love to see them. I know you will find an abundance of information in this forum, I certainly have. Look around and ask any questions you have and someone will be around to help.:cheer:
