I put my new baby in her cage whenever I leave the room. She is very curious and if I leave her she would head for anything she could get ahold of or for the door after me. I don't want to take the chance of anything happening to her. I just pick her up, I want her always to know both the step up and two handed pick up because I want to be able to get her in an emergency quickly. I also cover her with a towel frequently so she will not be afraid just in case I or someone has to get her quickly. Paranoia maybe but I now have two pets I luv with all my heart and I don't want to lose either one.
I haven't done so much cooking since, who remembers!!!! My new baby eats everything. No one said greys eat so much!!! Can't wait for the DNA results to come in. Darn such a long wait!! I haven't had so much fun in a long time!!
Pat, Gizmo is just gorgeous now. Such a lucky guy to have found a forever home with such a loving and caring person. I sure luv hearing about him. Thanks for sharing this lovely guy with us!

All the debt on your credit cards disappears, but that's because the debtor has attached your home and you must move out immediately.
I wish I had a housekeeper to clean my house.
Hi Glenn my new baby at first was always flying/leaping to my hardwood floors, it scared the daylights out of me. The first couple of times I was sure she was broken. She is more confident now and things are less scary. Can't wait to see some pictures of Tizzy; she sounds like a wonderful addition to your family.
Welcome to the family. Congratulations on your two greys. You have certainly come to the right place to find answers to your grey questions. Can't wait to see more pictures of Pappy and Maya.
Hi Mark, I am so glad that you and Lola are getting along so well. My baby grey and I are still working on stepping up as well. She is such a cuddle bunny and wants to be out of her cage all the time. And eat she eats up a storm. They are such fun and the adventure has just begun. Sounds like you have having a grand time too.
Hi Sehar, I too have a new 4 month old. No name yet as I am still awaiting DNA confirmation. I call her she because, why not!! Fortunately my grey eats everything I give her; she luvs my cornbread full of vegetables and pine nuts. As for toys, she luvs foot toys and spends lots of time on her playtop and on the top of my desk. She wants to type in the worst way!!! We cuddle all the time. So glad you and Timmy have joined our family.
So happy to hear Greyson is well on the mend. We all luv a guy who is not afraid to show his emotions, it shows true heart and compassion, it is a wonderful quality in such a handsome looking guy. Please keep in touch with us as you are now a very valuable member of our family.
Hey, welcome to the family!!! How old is Eddie? Is he a baby or re-home? We luv to hear how everyone acquires their grey. Do you have any pictures to share of Eddie? On another note, I luv your Avatar. What is your quarter horse's name?
I'm sorry about your situation, life happens and it isn't always pleasant. Dave, of course, is right you do not want to babysit later. Is it you are not sure or the potential owners are not sure if this change should be made. Have them log on here and read some of our posts and ask questions. If they are not sure perhaps you should keep looking for a new family. Good Luck on whatever you decide.
Michele, I am so sorry that Congo is missing. Have you asked your neighbors personally if they have seen Congo, advertised in the newspaper, checked the Humane Society, local bird society and pet stores? Or sat outside making familiar call sounds? Don't give up hope. I pray Congo will come home.
