I just can't bring myself to give my Ana Grey a poultry product, it seems so cannibalistic to me. But I'll try to work on that image! It certainly sounds like it would be good for her.

I haven't weighed her yet. Must find my scale!!! But she eats everything and all the time so I know she is just find. Luvs my birdie muffins with vegetables and pine nuts. Apples, grapes and Kiwi are a favorite too. She always drinks fresh water as soon as I change it twice a day so I know she is hydrated. I was very lucky her grandma (as the breeder calls herself) real worked hard to socialize and see that her babies were fully weaned. Millie and I talk every couple of days, she really luvs her babies and makes sure they are well loved and cared for. Ana Grey is a wonderful companion thanks to Millie!

Judy I'm jealous, jealous, jealous!!! Florida is a great State to see. Could never get use to the alligators or is it crocodiles wandering free though!! Looking forward to some great pictures and tales about your great vacation. You're going to Disney World right? Hope your cold has subsided. Have fun!!

Calm down Gus, he'll pick up on your jitters and get nervous too. You know I use to clip my pug's nails myself and she wouldn't come to me for a couple of days she was so mad. All I had to say was nails and she took off. So now I take her to the pet clip shop and she nips and barks (they think its funny) at them. When she is done, she luvs me to pieces because I saved her from them when I took her home.

Gerald that great. Cloudy is such a great name for a grey. If you have any pictures we would luv to see them. Keep up the great updates on your little baby.

Lil' Ana and I had a sword fight today. She stole my pencil and quickly pulled the eraser off and she and I battled to remove the little thing from her jaws. I finally won after a few jabs and lunges and we parted equals once again.

My baby grey turned 4 months on 12/6 I have had her for 9 days. Fortunately she eats everything. When I first brought her home she wanted me to handfeed everything to her. She was weaned 2 weeks before I brought her home and the breeder handled her babies all the time to socialize them. Perhaps your baby needs you to hand feed her some more and needs your attention. As for toys my grey only started to take real interest in them; beaks them and moves on. I feed my grey kiwi and grapes and apples, all of which have moisture in them. My grey always takes a drink when I give her fresh water and when I change her water there is always tell-tell bits of food or pellets in the water so I know she is drinking. I mist my grey, she doesn't always like it and right now is sitting on the top of her playtop mad at me because she didn't want to be misted. But she will forgive me, she always does. My baby calls me when I leave the room, if yours screams when you enter the room have you tried talking to him gently and offering him a treat or something else to distract him? I'm no expert and am just learning. But I do know, it all takes time. Only you can read your grey's body language and this will take time so relax but your luv and patient will eventually win out. Be patient and good luck.

Congratulations to Mckenzie and to you. She is absolutely gorgeous and if she is talking already she must be very comfortable and happy. Can't wait for more pictures and update on her homecoming.
