Dave, you have answered some questions that have been weighing on my mind. Actually commonsense questions that I was having problems with. Dave you certainly are our own Dr. Flock!! Begone cage cover, gee I feel so much better. Thank you Dave. What would we do without you!
Hi Bebo08, congratulations on your new TAG. Does he have a name yet? I'm sure he is just a little afraid because everything is new to him. Give him a chance to explore his new surroundings and get accustomed to you. Once he calms down and he knows you are only trying to take good care of him he will be fine. Have you had a chance to read through some of the threads in our nursery room? There is alot of information available here so look around and see what others have asked and answered. Welcome to the family. When you get a chance we would luv to see some pictures of your new FID.
This is a very interesting post. I would be very interested on your follow through. Please keep us posted on Rigel's improvements. I am so happy to hear he is doing so well. You are a great and caring caregiver to your wonderful grey. Karma to you Jim.
Ana Grey of course is new to me but so far she luvs apples and oatmeal. We had a small battle with Asparagus tonight, I presented it she moved her head right, I presented it again, she turned to the left, then she left the premises. Perhaps if I smother it with oatmeal!!!
Thanks, everyone!!!! I certainly tried out different names but yes, Ana Grey just fit, she is such a little lady!!

Nims, this is just a marvelous success story and inspiration to us all. If I ever choose to get another grey it will be a re-homed one if at all possible. Your story is great and please keep us informed of all your progress with Ice and Indy. Pictures please!!!!:silly:

Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2008/12/10 22:50

Hi, and you have come to the right place if you have questions about your new grey. How old is your new fid and what have you named her? Since you have only had her for two days I think things are going along great. So just relax and have fun. She sounds like she is just taking things in and is quiet and observant. Things are all new and different for her. If she is stepping up for you and your husband this is wonderful!!! Do you know what words she already knows? And if she is contact calling you for sure call back. This should be a wonderful adventure for all of you, enjoy it and get to slowing know your new friend all she need right now if to know she is in her forever home.
