  1. Oh Lenny is doing a good job of staring down Bernie!!! Love your little doggie's name!!!!
  2. Dee you are going to be a great grey parront!!!! Don't worry. The wellness check is for Juno's protection to assure that he is in top condition. You can "save" him from the "mean of doctor" when you cuddle him and assure him once the check up is over. Don't worry and just enjoy your baby's homecoming!

  7. Karma to you Kisses for not chipping your grey. My grey was clipped when I got her and I am still waiting for her to become fully flighted!
  8. I grew up on a farm and I sure miss the sounds of a rooster in the early morning!
  9. That sounds so cute Cassandra. I would love to see the video of Darwin's "peeboo!"
  10. Thanks for the website Rogie, will have to check it out!
  11. Fingers crossed that the rightful parronts are found quickly!
  12. I haven't tried online videos as learning tools yet but might give them a looksey. Thank for the idea!
  13. Whewwww lucky that Yoshi is A-Okay! I use to worry about Ana Grey crashing all the time until I realized that she's a bird and landings are a specialty for our feathered friends!!!!
  14. Well let's see, Jill has a seagull, Cindy has a chicken, and I have a crow!!!! Perhaps we can get a three-way swap going here!!! <br><br>Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/10/26 22:43
  15. My fids love chillies unfortunately they choke up my throat and make me sneeze and cough big time! I always have to remember to wash my hands a lot after chopping them up, but sometimes I forget and touch my mouth!!!! :woohoo:
  16. We all knew you would be coming home with a new fid! Can't wait to see some pictures of Nilah and the new toys!!!!
  17. You are forgiven Toni, life does get in the way sometimes!!!! We'll be here when you get back!!!!
  18. Perhaps your TAG, what is his name? is sensing that soon you will be preoccupied with a new life. Frankly I think this is great. Because your grey and husband will have each other while you are busy with the new little bundle, and you will be busy. It does'nt mean less love just a necessary adjustment. Very smart little grey if you ask me. Enjoy! Congratulations on your new baby!<br><br>Post edited by: luvparrots, at: 2009/10/28 02:59
  19. Too fast for me, makes me dizzy!
  20. What a great idea Dee. Java wanted out. Ana Grey does the same. There are some phrases I can't figure out.
  21. Oh my sounds like you have a perfectly normal active grey. An independent fellow much like my little Ana Grey. All greys need to be watched 24/7 if they are outside of their cages. Does your grey have lots of foraging and chewing toys around to play with? What is your little fellows name?
  22. If you want to know what sex your fid is, have it DNA tested. My grey's breeder told me my baby was a girl and I guessed the same. And she was but we were only sure after avianbiotech.com told us so. They will send you a free sample kit and for $24.99 they will e-mail the result and then send you a certificate. Well worth the money if you want to really know your fid's accurate sex.
  23. What is your baby TAG's name? I have a TAG named Ana Grey and is very loving. From day one I have never let her on my shoulder or head. You are the one to decide if your grey is allowed there so just don't let him go there. Remove him and tell him no. Ana Grey loves to be with me also so I have stands and ceiling boings and perches throughout the house. She is happy on them and if I tell her I'll be back she has learned to stay there for awhile anyway. You just need to be consistent. As for pooping everywhere, well birds poop and if you watch your grey you will see there are signals. Ana Grey always poops before she comes to me. She does not poop on me. I assume it is out of respect for each other. Learn to read you grey and be patient and consistent. Welcome to the Grey Family!
