GracieLGR this is a health question. Perhaps it would be best to post in the Health Room where Dave007, who is a grey breeder and been a grey owner for decades will be better able to help you. I too would move the disruptive amazon away from your quieter and calmer flock.
What a great introduction Dutch about your sweet grey, Breeze. I love the name!! Karma to you for taking in an older grey. She is going to have a happy and loving life thanks to you and Ten. We love pictures, so if you get a chance, we would love to see your beautiful Breeze. So glad you joined the forum!
 I'm assuming Dave immediately let Charlie out!!! I'm trying to get Ana Grey to say "Hey, come here, open the door" but so far no luck. She never only says one word, always phrases also. Thanks for the morning smile, Caroline!
You were afraid and you certainly conveyed that to Sindbad. He didn't know what he had done to make you so upset with him and reacted with fear and confusion. You got more upset with his reaction and the chain reaction escalated. Just relax and Sindbad will also relax. If you over worry so will he. So calm down. Please let us know what you and Sindbad have been up to lately. It's always nice to hear from family!
Hi Amy. Sorry to hear about your male breeder grey, Sonny. What is it you want to do with Cher? If you don't want to find her a mate then why not give her a little time and see if she wants to be part of the family? Hopefully some of our members who breed greys can give you some better information about what the best way to proceed would be. Welcome to the grey family.
Fred is going to be totally handsome (not that he isn't beautiful now) when he gets all his feathers in. He deserves a good tuna sandwich for being such a good boy!!
Jay thanks for sharing Pistachio and Buddy with us. Buddy will come around you know he will. Be patient and you and Maggie just be your loving selves and all will be right in the flock!
I am so sorry and angry that someone would sneak into your backyard and steal Alfie. To cover all bases, I would also contact all avian vets and put a newspaper ad in lost and found with a mention of a reward. Perhaps the thieves will see it and contact you for the reward. Contact your neighbors and find out if anyone saw anyone/car different or strange in the neighbor. I would still poster the neighborhood and local stores just in case someone heard or saw something/someone. I am so sorry. Don't give up hope. I pray Alfie will be safely and quickly returned home to you.
Congratulations Chimay!!!! What a smart little lady you are. Cindy, I can remember how excited and how proud I was when Ana Grey said her first words. Enjoy!!!
Welcome to you and Maya. Maya is a fine looking grey. You need to give her a chance to settle in and get use to you and her new home. Don't push her too hard or she will bite. Just relax and let her come to you.
