My grey isn't too interested in TV or movies, in fact she is not interested at all. I leave the radio on sometimes, and frankly she doesn't care for that either.
Birdroom lights off at 7:00 pm, my ekkie insists on it or he will squawk until the lights are out. When I go in and say nite, nite, my grey goes to her night perch for sleeping. My zon also goes to his cage when I say nite, nite and tell him to go to his cage. So 7:00pm until I get up in the AM.
I love fried purple eggplant
it is better than chocolate covered ants
you know the kind that get in your pants
and cause you to do that silly dance.

LOL I just put anything I value away, just like I did when the kids were small. If I can't store it away, I cover it up!!! Good luck in your endeavor!!! LOL!
Talking is a very good thing and talking back to him is excellent. I think it's great that you are going at your new grey's pace with lots of love and patience!
May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey be plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
Everyone, stay safe and healthy this thanksgiving day!!!! Janet
I talk to my grey, she and I are very close. I tell her when I am leaving the room or going to the store or whatever. She seems to understand. I believe our greys understand a lot of what we say and do. So talk to Yumyum and tell her what is going on and that you will be back.
I have not experienced this behavior with my 2 1/2 year old and hopefully never will. The only part of my body Ana Grey aims for is my shoulder or chest at least so far. The trip to the shoulder are few and far between as she loves to nibble my ears. I hope you find a solution to this behavior.
I only keep pellets in my fids cages as a "just in case" food. They really don't eat them very much. As Dave says all the other foods are what they prefer. If my fids don't like a meal I provide, then they can always fuel up on the pellets!
Whatever you do, don't get Timmy a wrecking ball for Christmas!!!!! Sounds like Timmy needs some foraging toys before your home is in shambles!!!! My zon is is very busy also and its a chore to keep up with him!!!
I know how disappointed you must be as I had to wait for Ana Grey because her breeder would not release her until she was fully weaned. To me a sign of a great and loving breeder!! Lucy is certainly worth waiting for as she is beautiful!!!!
