My grey is easy going and a mellow little lady. I just put new things where I want them to go and leave them there. No fanfare or anything and my nosey litte lady just checks it out.

Oh my heart aches for you. This is my worst fear for my flighted grey, she so loves to look outside and I know she would fly high the first chance she got. Please don't give up. Look out that window and see where you would go if you where Mino and check it out. Go to or at least call all the local pet shops/stores and vet/animal shelters/hospitals see if anyone has come in or asked about greys. Praying for Mino's safe and quick return to his loving parronts. Be strong.

I have laminated floors in the bird room so I just clean up any poop with vinegar and water and sweep up the seeds and other rubbish. Once a day and we are good to go!

Poo, poo to the height dominance. Unfortunately my grey loves to nibble my ears so she and I have a running battle about the nibble part. She is getting much better and has stopped nibbling for now, so we will see. She does love to sit on my shoulder and give me kisses on my cheek. Mort sounds like a lovely grey just like my sweet Ana Grey. Congratulations on finding a sweet grey and kudos to you and your family for giving him a wonderful forever home!

I wouldn't worry about one feather that has molted out. I have an older re-homed ekkie and he is a plucker. It is not his long feathers that he plucks it is his finer body and back feathers. So I think your grey was just playing with a molted feather.

I have had my pug, Fei Lian (tiny lotus blossom) aka Lily since she was 4 months old. She is now 9 years old. Lily barks whenever she needs to go outside and a very good puppy. Ana Grey sound exactly like Lily's barks. Ana Grey loves to go to the plant stand by the patio door and bark like Lily. When I go to let Lily out, Ana Grey, takes off laughing as I go and find out that Lily is not there and it was Ana Grey imitating Lily's bark!!!!!!
