1. Very nice photos!!!!! Twix certainly looks very content and happy!
2. Very nice video! Way to go Archimedes!!! I love to see them fly!!!
3. As a grey owner, you all know that each grey has a quirk or two that for a moment might cause you to think......"What was I thinking when I purchased this crazy destructive grey!" My Ana Grey loves to destroy keyboards, especially the "Ctrl" keys!!!! Thus I have several damaged keyboards. So I thought perhaps others have the same problem and perhaps someone else has a Logitech keyboard that is missing other keys and would like to send my their "Ctrl" keys from their now useless Logitech keyboard so I can repair one of mine!!!! I of course would send you in return the keys you are missing on your keyboard. You all know we have more than one destroyed keyboard, let's be honest here!!!! LOL!! Also I have had to replace my dining area overhead light: No Louie didn't damage the light. Sterling Gris, chewed the wiring and shocked himself and caused the light to "pop" and destroyed the connection. Sterling Gris is fine. Not so much the wiring. So if someone has an overhead light like this and needs some parts, let me know!!! So how about a Part's Room Talon??????? Maybe we can help each other out here!!! LOL!!! Note: I now have a ceiling hugging overhead dining area light. Just so grateful that my Sterling is healthy and all right. Have a Great day Everyone. And a laugh/smile or two!!!!!! LOL!!
4. Too cute! Sorry but Nilah's pacing in front of the window reminds me of the show Prison Break. Just like a prisoner pacing in her cell! LOL!!!! Too cute!!!
5. Rio is quite handsome. Looking forward to see how he adapts to his new forever home!
6. My Louie has one of these and I have a larger one (green) that each of my gang has. They are not that popular with them. they prefer noise makers.
7. Thanks, Louie is certainly a heart stealer. He is always busy and always fun to watch. I am starting to believe that all zons have high pitched voices not just my Louie. Greys and zons the two best kinds of parrots to have, in my opinion that is.
8. Louie is always busy. If he isn't flying around or chasing Ana Grey or Sterling, he is playing or getting into trouble. That's a zon for you!
9. You don't need to encourage your grey to fly. She will fly on her own when she is ready. Just don't impede her efforts and she will fly naturally.
10. Glad to hear all is well in your neighborhood now. Road ID a very good idea, I give them to my running/biking kids and grandkids as birthday gifts.
11. Ahh Ha! Dee, I can certainly related. I have been looking for a Lilac Crowned Amazon. That will be my last parrot!!!! I have always done things in even numbers so it is inevitable that I will one day have two greys and two zons. I just need to find one!!!!! Greys and zons the prefect parrots in my book! Can't wait to see your zon Dee!!!! LOL!!!!
12. Sounds like Lillie likes her new home and is settling in very nicely. As for the bathing. My three parrots love to be sprayed with Aloe Vera. I use a very fine mist setting on the sprayer and spray upward. Never in the face. They love it so much they open their wings and feathers and even turn for me. Always mist your grey in the AM or early afternoon so she is sure to dry off. Never use a hairdryer to help with the drying as it will quickly dry out Lillie's skin. Natural drying is the best and my gang love to preen their feathers into their own fashion statement.
13. Of course, we do not know the circumstances going on in your household. But some times our greys need to be left alone for awhile. Just like people sometimes our pets need a break too. Quiet time so to speak.
14. Zons sure love the water and their baths! My grandson would love to take Nilah to work with him. He manages a Starbucks while attending ITT. Love the Starbucks I get as a bonus!!!! LOL!!! Great video of your water baby!
15. First, does your parrot know and say his name? To me that would certainly be a factor. And if you really have to change the name then have him dna tested first. We wouldn't want you to have to re-name the sweet parrot again if he proves to really be a guy after all.
16. Oh Chili Pepper is so handsome. Great pictures. Thank you for the step down memory lane!!!
17. Thanks for the great read!! Sticky it is!!! A must read for all people contemplating becoming a parront!
18. I'm glad to hear that everyone in your family and flock are all right. In a strange way this was a good thing, because it let you know what areas of your emergency escape plan you need to work on with your family and flock. I periodically test my smoke alarms so that my parrots are use to the sound of them. I will be gathering up my parrots in the next test to see how quickly I can get them into their cages in a noisy and stressful time. I have not tried that before, but Penny your thread has let me know that this is an area that I do need to work on. So thank you for sharing your experience with us and for the wake up call. I am so glad that all is well with your home and human and fid family.
19. Such a beautiful and colorful parrot! I look forward to learning more about her from you!!!

21. Grapes contain a lot of juice/water so be sparse with the grapes or your grey will get the runs and not much else. I give my parrots unsalted roasted pistachios, slices of fresh carrot and other fresh veggies. There are oodles of ideas in the Bird Food Room.
22. Hi Christol, congrats on your new grey. I am looking forward to seeing some pictures and hearing how her new home transition goes. Welcome to the Grey family!
