1. Ahh but the companionship, love and joy they give in return------ Priceless!!
2. I would get your new baby in its larger cage as soon as possible as it looks like he really wants out of that smaller cage. A bell to clang around might be fun for him.
3. Congratulations on your new companion. I look forward to hearing more about him.
4. If you are handy, which I am not, perhaps you could build your own: http://www.cheepparrottoysntips.com/atoms.html
5. Ana Grey is the one of my fids that always wants to eat what I am eating. She steals from my hands and has a gay old time. But she is very good about eating off of my plate, she never steps in my plate and always eats from the corner/edge where I have placed food especially for her. If she smells food cooking she comes running/flying to me so if I want to eat in peace, I have to put her in the bird room and close the door.
6. This is now my Ana Grey, TAG, holds her wings normally.
7. Some greys have strange idiosyncrasies. Some of our members' greys get upset over fingernails colors or clothing colors, who knows why. I do know that greys' do have a very strong sense of smell that is why there should be no scented candles used, room freshers, etc. Because of the air pockets our greys have in their lungs, the lungs are very sensitive. Hopefully less deodrant or a less scented type on Ben should be helpful. Let is know if that helps.
8. I would raise a hand quickly and hopefully your grey will let go to see what is going on with the hand. That is how I got my older ekkie to let go when he use to lock his beak and tongue on my arm. I would raise the other arm/hand upward where he could see it. It can be very scarey.
9. What's done is done, so just move on. You should post your baby grey questions in the Nursery Room as that is where our Dave resides and he is great with baby greys. He has helped me oodles with actually any grey questions I have. Good luck and relax and listen to Dave007.

15. Hi Andy, congrats on your new companion. Can't wait to hear more about him and see some pictures (hint, hint). Welcome to the Grey family!

19. Talking about garage doors. Ana Grey loves to sit on my shoulder but if I open the house door to the garage, she will immediately fly off my shoulder back into the house. I have tried to take her into the garage several times and she always head back into the depths of the house. Now if I walk toward the back door to the patio, she flies toward me and I have to watch her. On another note, I just noticed your pink Rocky in your signature line. I remember the "dyeing" but I never knew you permanently posted "Pink Rocky". Too cute!!!!
20. I have take my parrots to my daughter's for the weekend, but I never let them loose in the jeep. What if one is spooked and flies into the driver, or there is an accident or if someone just forgets that the parrot is out and opens a door or window. To many what ifs for me.
21. I love it!!!!! What a great picture. Thanks for the huge smile for today, Dee!!!!!
22. Hi Jodi, big Howdy to you and Cosmo! Would love to see Cosmo when you get a chance. Welcome to the Grey family!
23. My greys are not toy players. My Ana Grey is 4 years old, I have had her since she was weaned. Sterling Gris is just a year old, I have had him since he was weaned. I will say Sterling Gris has shaken a toy or two but not with any real enthusiasm. They have never played with toys although they have lots of them. Now my zon, who is 4 years old, loves toys and plays and bangs around alot. My greys are healthy, eat well and fly around a lot. They are just not toy people.
