Spent Thanksgiving in California. It was a wonderful time with my girls. 1 am glad to be home today. Lost my laptop mouse and had to get a new one first thing this day. Hope all had a wonderful time with their family and friends.

Hi dj,welcome to the Grey Form. I have a male cag, Sterling Gris, who is 6 years old. He trusts me totally. Sterling Gris totally loves my next door young 6'5" male neighbor; hates my oldest daughter, but loves my youngest daughter. So poo poo believing that greys prefer one sex over the other. Personality/vibes of an individual is what attracts a grey. Sterling Gris loves to talk and repeats just about anything he hears. My tag, Ana Grey, 8 years old, just loves and trusts everyone. She loves to give cheek kisses and shake claw to hand.

I have 8 year old TAG female and a 6 year old CAG male. They are out of their cages together all the time. They could care less about breeding with each other. She is the boss leader and he the follower.

I find that if i am calm, my greys are calm. Fireworks in the country town can be noisy. i just go into the Grey Room or let them out of their cages to watch TV with me and talk to them. If I am calm so are they. My CAG, Sterling Gris, follows my TAG, Ana Grey's lead. Ana Grey is fearless and trusts me to no end; so all is calm at noisy times.

My greys are not covered only my canary. The greys are quiet once I close the drapes in their room and turn off the lights. They are quiet until they hear me up in the Am. Then they start calling me to let me know they want up too. Sterling Gris can be very verbal about it, with loud "Open the door I want to come out. Hello, open the door, i want to come out!!!" (cage door) Ana Grey just quietly let's him rail on and on because she knows she always gets out first. She is The Boss. My canary's cage is never open when the greys are out as my greys would hunt him down for a quick snack. Moe is very quick but my greys can be relentless. My birds all go back into their cages as they choose which is normally as the sun goes down.

When my greys make sounds i do not like, I sing to them. Stops them right away. Must be the sounds I make are just as annoying to them.

I have throws on every couch or recliner in my home and have hardwood or tile throughout the house. My greys are angels, they bomb from their wooden perches or boings that I have for them throughout my home. Newspaper beneath these spots are great for droppings making life easy. So I feel blessed with my flighted angels.

I come to Greyforms everyday and read through. Hoping something new comes through. Still hopng........ Ana Grey, 9, and Sterling Gris,7, whom I had with me since each was weaned, are very social and friendly, but they are quiet greys, who love to talk. Sterling Gris likes to sing too.

It is always sad when a member of the family loses a feathered friend. So very sad. I am sorry for this loss.
