I saw the parrots on the Amazon, also. I've seen various wild flocks here in California. I think Sammy was probably wild caughtt since his human family had lived in Africa (I don't remember which country). Having Precious has been an experience I will always cherish. I am certain this has made me what I am: eco concious. I do what I can to protect and conserve both the animals that have come to me and all others, domestic and wild. This is part of what dictates my life syle.

The only thing I know to do is ignore it. As for other words you can repeat them and say "What a good girl", giving her lots of praise. They do pick up sounds very quickly, don't they.

She laid an egg to prove it. We did not know what Sammy was , but "he" :unsure: was a wonderful talker. He didn't carry on a conversation with us the way Precious does, though.:lol:

Yes i read it and I cried. I cried when Alex died, also.{Feel-bad-0002006A} I had so hoped he would live much longer. He was priceless (but aren't ALL our greys?).

Is it possible your prospective flatmates don't understad how complex and intelligent our greys are, what their needs are and the joys that they bring us as part of our families? If educating them doesn't solve the problem I agree you need to make other housing arraingments. The best of luck.
