i use poop off to clean my birds messes up and i usually clean them up as soon as she goes and it is no big deal to me either.

yep i have a flat top stove as well i havent had any problems with it with the birds.

hi and welcome my grey will beak me to she is 8 months old and she scratches alot to so it is robably cause she is getting new feathers in but i dont really know i'm no expert here, the bothers will have better advice for you.
