I agree with Sheila. Its a good sign she is being vocal, I just think it will take a little while to settle in and adjust to her new surroundings. Does she have a new cage as well? If so this maybe why she is unsettled in the cage. Its good you are feeding the same diet as before, try not to make any drastic changes until she is settled in. She will eat when she is hungry. Congratulations on your new baby:)

Today is a special day for my baby, its his second birthday today! Time has gone so quickly since I got Charlie as a baby, he always will be my special baby and I love him so much:kiss:

Janet, Sully sounds like he has settled in really well! I am so pleased for you and he is absolutely beautiful! My youngest Jasper is very laid back as well, he dosent play as much as the other two, they are all so different, he prefers to sit and chill and take everything in while the other two are swinging round on everything they can:laugh: I am glad Sully has found a loving home like yours for his forever home Janet,you have been such a great mom to both your lovely birds:kiss: Karma to you Janet, your such a loving kind hearted person:)

Hiya Ladyluck, Its great you could join us here:) I think like the others have said it will just take a little time for your baby to settle, like us, they are all so different, some will be straight out of their cages and very curious about what is going on around them, others will feel safe in their cage and maybe take a little longer to settle in. I cant wait to hear a bit more about baby Grace. Hope you enjoy the forum:)

Hi Baz, Im so sorry your grey is plucking, he is also very young to be doing this. A bit of background would be useful so we could try and help. Has anything changed recently? Has his routine changed at all? Have you taken him to a vet to get checked out and be sure its nothing medical? Does he bathe 2-3 times a week? Is he on a good diet? Does he get enough time out of his cage? Sorry to ask lots of questions but it helps for other members to get a bit more info. Hopefully someone can help:)

Post as many pictures as you want, they are fantastic! I love seeing pictures of all the babies we have seen grow on here its great! Can you believe that ZZero will be one already? Its gone so quickly! He is adorable in those photos and looks so cheeky;) I have just added a travel carrier to my collection same as yours, the youngest one will go in no problem but the other two wont. Never mind, I will show them ZZero's lovely photo and they may change their minds:laugh: Karma to you for sharing those photos, I hope he has a wonderful hatchday.

Di, I would definetly keep Monty at home. He is in familiar surroundings and even though he may bite the kids, he knows who they are and will be fed and looked after by people he knows. I managed to go away for a week last year with the kids and left my husband Dave looking after the birds, they had to stay in their cages as he cant get them back in. Yes they were fed up but I felt happier knowing they were with someone they knew in their own home. Its difficult, we wont be able to go away together again well, not until the kids are old enough to look after the birds but I just wouldnt leave them with anyone else. Let us know what you decide Di, do what feels right for you.
