So Cosmo started drinking some of my Propel flavored water, he loves it! I'm not sure if it was bad so I didn't give but a bottle cap of it but he is crazy over it.

Is it bad to move everything in a Grey's cage around? My girlfriend and I just now did, it actually made it a lot roomier. He acted fine and he is sleeping now, but I thought that usually stresses them out? I feel bad though I accidentally pinched his foot in the door a little, I think it scared him more than hurt him I feel horrible about it though.

I know this is weird but I am sure your Grey has done this too. Sometimes when I am with Cosmo I will pet him and he will open his beak and put it around my finger and bob his head like when he is being hand fed. The weird thing is he will do it sometime when I kiss his beak but, he is doing it to my mouth :huh: Is he trying to regurgitate on me and I'm not giving him time? Or is he just taking instinct. I'll set him down to eat but he wants back up on my shoulder.

hah thanks for the karma, yeah she really didn't show how awesome Greys are at all. I wish she had Einstein with her lol. Jay had some talking birds on the other night there was a CAG, DYH, and YN. It was pretty good, some of the things the woman said about Greys kind of bothered me though. She said that you can't pet them and they don't like to be petted. I was petting Cosmo at the time of watching it lol. I think she didn't know much about birds maybe just the "pretty face" to introduce them.

haha it had garlic in it and I read that sad story about the guy's Grey dying from it. So I just didn't want to chance it, don't worry next time he will get some garlic free! He also enjoys a waffle in the morning haha.

I was messing with Cosmo just playing the "Get'cha game" and he started moving around really fast bobbing his head and attacking me. He was getting kind of ruff as far as biting wise. I think he was playing?? I would slow my hand down and pet his beak and head and he calmed down. Was I making him mad or was he playing? I know other animals can get ruff i.e. cats and dogs when you are playing with them, but I wasn't sure if Greys do too?

This is the Goffin Cockatoo I was first trying to get, he has started plucking at the pet store due to neglect. But, my girlfriend is thinking of getting him, so I hope she does. He is my first bird buddy, great bird.
