Thanks, I guess I really need to try to bathe him. He takes a shower with me everyday, but doesn't get wet. Just the steam from the shower. I guess that isn't good enough though.

Well he is clipped, which wasn't my choice. The breeder had already clipped him when I picked him up. I'm debating to just let them grow or clip him again, he is just about fully grown back in. When he flies now he can get a little loft. Thanks for your help everyone, I actually remember him loosing a few before, it has never been any grey feathers though, just the tail ones.

Okay actually after re-reading over the link provided I'm actually not worried at all. He hasn't lost any grey feathers it was just two red ones, and he doesn't look any different by looking at him you can't tell at all. I think he may getting ready to molt, I may spray him tomorrow to see if this helps. I usually don't because he gets super pissed at me.

Well he has only done two of them, one of my parents friends did come over the other day and my dad said that Cosmo didn't like and the person tried to pet him and Cosmo was very upset. Maybe that is why he did it?

Okay, so I watched him pull another one, but he isn't "plucking" he is breaking it off at a part. He is acting a little weird too, he was whimpering and acting like he was going to throw up.

No he is not acting different, school is almost over, but I start summer classes very soon! I was washing my car and I usually take him with me by putting his window perch on the outside window. It was a bit windy today however and the wind scares the crap out of him so I put the perch on the inside where he could see me I go in and the feather is in his mouth and he is trying to shred it.

He recently went through a molt as one of his tail feathers was almost in he pulled it out, it has been the only one. Do you think he is depressed or anything?

Thank you everyone, yeah I had a good night. My girlfriend drove me around all night I only had a few drinks though. Yes that is all the bird wants is neck scratches :lol:

Sorry I have been very busy with school, I haven't posted in awhile. Anyway Cosmo is doing great, talking a lot, so I decided to get a new video of him. So, here it is, hope you all enjoy it.

No blood, he is almost 8 months old, he has been a little bit more excited to see me(he will run back and forth on top of his cage saying Cosmo and then start lunging to get on my shoulder and sometimes he bites a little hard when he is excited so maybe he got excited and did it) and he is clumsy so who knows. I went to get Cosmo to play with him this afternoon and he was playing with one of his tail feathers that wasn't attached. I don't think he plucked it, he isn't really doing anything different. I haven't spent that much time with him the past couple of days maybe only 1-3 hours but I have always done this on school days. So nothing has changed. Is it time for him to molt or do you think he accidentally preened too hard?

Rhonda Cosmo is 7 months old and a Velcro bird thank you very much for your kind words haha he is wonderful. well I hope he always likes to be touched, he doesn't mind it at all. well as long as it's me, my girlfriend can't touch him, just hold him and get him to step up. Even still he bites her sometimes. Yeah Hannah you can see me going through all the stages haha.

Here is a video and a few new shots of the turkey. he has started doing this thing that looks as if he is macing a chicken he will take his foot and pull it back and forth like he is charging. pretty funny, well enjoy ( you can see it in the video, does any one else's grey do this? Greys are hard work :lol: Who says Greys are not loving?? haha

Yeah Cosmo for some reason sleeps on his food dish and I really can't move that so he is fine with it. I have always since I got him changed the toys around and exchanged them. This is the first time he has had his swing moved and sandy perches. He seemed fine with it today though. Thanks for all the help everyone.
