  5. It's far to easy to misinterpret the written word.Sometimes people respond to a post & the reader can quite easily take the reply the wrong way. No one here intentionally means to offend another member.There will always be different opinions on various subjects as adults we must respect eachothers views
  6. Good post Carolyn, My tree has never been an issue as my greys have their own bird room but i do have big reservations this year as to have a tree or not as i have a macaw who i imagine is going to terrorize it :pinch:

  8. Great news Nims & Thanks for sharing your great news about Indy. I did have all my flock insured but the monthly cost for 5 was quite expensive so i cancelled all my policies & have a separate savings account just in case But for single bird owners it is very beneficial. A good tip for owners too,if any doubt about your greys health pick the phone up & give your vet a call.

We look forward to hearing more from you SAFE WOOD: Apple, Arbutus, Ash, Aspen, Beech, Birch, Cottonwood, Crabapple, Dogwood, Elm, Fir, Hawthorn, Larch, Magnolia, Manzanita, Mulburry, Pear, Pine, Poplar, Sequola (redwood) Willow DANGEROUS WOOD: DO NOT USE THE FOLLOWING Apricoy, Cherry, Peach, Prune, Plum, Nectarine. This group of trees belong to the Prunus species. They contain Cyanogenic Glycosides which releases Cyanide if ingested. Ceader trees are another toxic tree as it has it's own oily toxin. Toni i think you have made remarkable progress in 6 months.The pictures of your vehicle were horrific as where the injuries you sustained.I know there has been many ups & downs for you but i take my hat off to you, to have come this far in such a short space of time has taken great determination on yout part And the best news !     You have done everything you should have done As long as the bleeding has stopped then you have nothing to be concerned about,mine often catch their skin on their perches if they rub excessively .
