Hi Pat, If she is scared of hands she needs to learn to trust your hands & see them as a positive thing & not feel threatened by them, but as you are fully aware this may be a long process, Being scared of hands is usually a result of being handled incorrectly at some stage. There may well be something in her post that has made her terrified,perhaps manhandling or someone banging on the cage,it may have been a number of things.You have made wonderful progress with Tyco,if she is happy to step up on to your arm,then maybe that's her comfort zone & you may have to accept that.

I really dont have the answer im afraid, i would imagine if you have aired the house cleaned the cooker there really is no more you can do, i wish i was able to advise you more

Hi Lynda & Welcome. "i had a piece of teflon in my oven to catch the drips and I turned my oven on clean.." what did you have some kind of tray or dish coated with teflon ? or was it your actual oven ? if it was a dish/tray that got overheated emitting the fumes did you dispose of it ? If it was your actual cooker then personally i would seek advice from the appropriate service/repirman.

Sweet Potato Balls 1 large sweet potato, microwaved till soft, 1/2 cup raisins, 1 mashed banana, 1 cup mixed fresh or frozen mixed vegetables, 1 cup diced apples, 1 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal, corn flakes or granola cereal. Mix all together and add enough fruit or vegetable juice to make it form small balls. Freeze balls individually. Defrost and serve.

Avocados contain persin which is a toxic compound, it is not fully known if it is the pip or flesh, avocados should never be fed !

Please dont use the wooden dowels from the DIY shop they really dont benefit a greys feet.Try to get a natural tree perch alongside a cement perch, sandy perch or therapeutic perch.These will exercise your greys feet & at the same time keep the nails filed down

Kim that is so true, the market is flooded with so many cleaning products, each one claiming it's better than it's rival ! What happened to good old elbow grease & little diluted bleach,vinegar etc.. all these products werent around years ago & people managed to survive
