Haha... my cousin did that to my aunt once, but with melted red crayon. I don't think she believed him though. That's good to hear Beccy, hey, maybe you could use the blackberry juice to dye his feathers in neat patterns.

I love looking for greys on youtube too, but most of the videos I find are of them doing nothing, or of swearing birds. =P My favorite so far is the beatboxing grey. :laugh:

Jack will hang upside down in his cage sometimes, but I've never seen him do it anywhere else, and he always holds on with both feet. =P

That's weird... I don't find it so strange that someone might want to use the feathers for jewelry, but strange that they might pay $50 or more for the feathers... :blink:

I tried the Fist of Iron today, and it helped as far as not getting bitten goes, but Jack figured out that when he lifts his foot, I put my fingers out, thinking he's gonna step up. He didn't bite me, I was quick today, but I may not be so lucky next time...

I wish I had tried the harness with Jack when he was younger... I didn't even know about them when I first got him. Now he can't STAND it. Mirek is adorable. I have a question though- doesn't your bed get quickly covered in poop, and oatmeal concoctions? =P

Training has been coming along okay, my main issue is that the only food Jack will eat without question, and quickly, is cheese. It was okay in the beginning but now I know I have to find something else... but he's so picky. Any suggestions?

The thing I didn't like was that neither of the pictures showed the red tail. Perhaps TalonSis can photoshop some red feathers in there And change the color of the hand's sweater. hehe. Also, I figured the shirts should be grey and red... but the site I was using didn't have that, so I just left it black and white. I've never lost a bird, but I did lose my cat once. He was a big, fluffy, silver mainecoon (definitely didn't look like a stray. :laugh: ) Anyway, he didn't have a collar on, and he escaped through a not-so-closed window in the basement. He'd been missing for over a month when my mother got a phone call from this lady who said she saw one of our posters when taking a different route on her morning walk. She had renamed our Mozart "Adonis" and he was living in his own room in her house. :blink: Lost cats are probably easier to find than lost birds, but you never know. :side:

I'm in northern NJ but I'll still keep an eye out for anything... =[

The Pirates of the Caribbean films were the only ones I actually thought worth paying 8 bucks to see. I'm not a movie person. :side: But I'm going to be a pirate when I grow up, so... seeing the movie is just you know... mentally preparing myself.

There are so many helpful topics floating around about specific foods, and whether they are on the "good" list or the "bad" list for greys. I thought it might be a good idea to make one BIG "good" and "bad" list. We could start by fishing out all the topics we've already had about specific foods, and then from there, everyone could add foods as they learn about them. How 'bout it?
