  1. Dan that would have to have been a kodak moment, float like a butterfly and sting like a bee, now you are a boxer, you continue to amaze me...........:blink:
  2. And more than likely it will be from me since Dan is just itching for me to get a bite so I can join his club. But I am willing to risk it if Josh can come and take care of me, how about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:unsure:
  3. Mums the word.{Feel-bad-00020068}

  5. Dan, I didn't know you could do a flying triple somersault, Bruce Lee style, wow what a comedian you are, a man of many talents, bright, humorous and now a kung fu fighter, you continue to amaze me.{Characters-00020078}
  6. I can't wait to see how this comes out.:woohoo:
  7. Aww come on now Dan, you will meet the "Mark" and surpass it to boot, I have confidence in you and so does everyone else here on this forum. I for one am glad you joined us here for I enjoy someone who can take my sense of humor. This is what makes it so appealing to come here and post with others and get some good information while having fun at the same time. Don't worry about CD watching just you, he is watching all of us mods but don't worry about it because I don't, Talon and I have him wrapped around our little fingers, but that is our little secret, ok!!!!!!!!!! {Feel-good-000200BB}
  8. Just don't push them together, have them in the same room but not close, they will eventually get used to each other but probably not friends. My grey, Josey and my sun Conure, Sunny, don't like each other and sometimes I have both of them on my shoulder at the same time but I keep them separated, one on each shoulder. Sunny likes to sneak up on Josey and try to pick a fight and nip at her, she can be a little pain at times.
  9. This is not the first time that I have heard that they do react to our emotions. They are very smart and pick up on our reactions and emotions, but that is funny that he seems to enjoy it when there is anger and fighting going on around him. At least it is not directed at you, maybe you can catch some of it on video and post it for the rest of us to enjoy.
  10. You got it made Tricky, you both can grow up together, grow old together like they say.
  11. The only thing about that is you have to take it outside for that and Josey's cage is a little large for that, otherwise it works fine.
  12. Well that room needs a genius and you are elected, you possess a wide range of knowledge that will come in handy to guide you thru the numerous subjects you will encounter in the Off Topics room. I know you will do an excellent job, CD will see to it that you do, know what I mean.:ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy:
  13. Not going that route, Dan, I will leave this world without unnatural enhancements to myself, thank you. I don't believe in those cosmetic procedures, what you see is what you get.:laugh:
  14. No I haven't used that, I'm still using elbow grease, and it works pretty well but gets tiresome after a while. I have used poop off and it works fairly well but not with the elbow grease, seems like you cannot get along without it.
  15. Just don't you take a nip of any of them narcotics, Josh, you are too much without their help. :S :blink:
  16. Congratulations, Dan, I knew you could do it. You are the best person for this job, you are very smart and capable of carrying on the duties put before you. I respect you a lot and I know you bring good ideas with you for this room. So congrats, buddy, you did it. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
  17. I am proof that wrinkly and crinkly does not automatically make you wise, but that macaw in Bird Talk did look very wise. Too bad when Josey gets old and wrinkly and crinkly I will be long gone, will not get to see it, wouldn't want to see it for that matter. :(
  18. Congratulations, Lidia, I know you will do a bang up job at moderator of the Bird Food room, you know if I can be a moderator, then you have it made. You go girl. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
  19. Congrats, Loofa, now the real fun begins, glad that day has arrived for you to bring that baby home. Update us as to how things go after she gets settled in.
  20. Thanks Dan for the "good news", I think you are looking forward to my first bite, just kidding. I will continue the sink bathing all the same though, but I am thinking of putting a big leaf of cabbage that is very wet and maybe she can roll in it, might be fun.
  21. Hello Karla, when you go next time, offer to clean the cage for her, maybe she is ignorant and does not know a bird likes a clean home like the rest of us and maybe stress to her the importance of a clean cage, clean bowls for her bird. She certainly wouldn't want to have to eat out of the same kinds of filth that she is subjecting her bird to. Just a suggestion. Thanks for staying on this, that bird will forever be grateful for your efforts.
  22. Dinkanber, you have a wealth of information, having had your grey for 22 years, we may have to consult with you on answers, you may have them all. Glad you shared your story with us and I am sure you have lots more, would appreciate it if you would share some more as time goes by.
  23. Well I guess we have to take your word for the tastiness of it, I have never heard of it, but like the others said give it in moderation.
  24. Wow Dinkanber, you got a hot bird. Glad you could give him a home and that is funny you did not even know what kind of bird you had and thought it was a pigeon. He sounds like one smart cookie and I have to laugh at the remarks you made about his water, he knows what he wants. Glad you joined our family and looking forward to hearing more about Fransis.
  25. Welcome to our family and I am very proud of you for rescuing that grey from that situation, how sad for her. She needs to see you play with the toys with her to show her how to have fun with them. She has been cage bound for so long she does not know how to play. And with 8+ toys that may be too many at one time. Take a couple of them out and try that. Good luck to you and let us know how you two get along. Looking forward to hearing more about your rescue.
